Disappointed - Edit
After reading the other reviews from the Happy Cowians, we thought this place was going to be really good. What we found was over priced and really basic. I hate to say anything bad about any venue that takes diverse dietary needs into consideration, but this just wasn’t tasty. The guac was the most disappointing- tasting like the pre-made stuff from the grocery store (acidic with a yellow hue). They also didn’t have the Causa that was mentioned in the other reviews due to seasonal availability. My partner got super basic vegan spinach enchiladas that came with white rice and black beans and cost $18 dollars- whew! We were also charged for chips and salsa.

Cons: Over priced, Not very tasty, Guacamole not fresh

Delicious Vegan Dishes - Edit
This place is a hidden gem for vegan dishes. It’s not your basic Mexican burrito and taco place. They make unique flavorful dishes.
Read moreWe arrived late, but they were very accommodating. Carol was our server and once we mentioned we are vegan she opened up with a handful of dishes they create that are vegan. She explained all the sides that are and aren’t vegan. She recommended the vegan burrito and spinach enchiladas. Both were knockouts. The green sauce was delicious and spicy. Good kick to the dishes.
We had asked what else they offer that are vegan and she had mentioned a vegan Causa and vegan Ceviche. Well, we came back the very next day to try those dishes and another burrito. The mushroom Ceviche was spicy and very flavorful. The Causa was full of flavor as well. Carol also mentioned brunch options that we weren’t able to make it for the next day.
Next time we are in Paso Robles area we are coming here first! Food to look forward to!
Pros: Very vegan friendly, Some staff are vegan, Plenty of vegan dishes

Flavorful and delicious!!! - Edit
Beautiful restaurant and gorgeous food presentation. I've been going here for years and their burritos are so yummy! Make sure to ask for a side of their homemade salsa. They also serve meat so if you have family or friends who really prefer that, everyone will be happy here. Quinoa salad and veggie wrap are also amazing. If you are coming in the evening, I highly recommend the spinach enchiladas! The staff also knows what is and isn't vegan. If you just let them know that you are vegan they will accomodate.
