竹林素食 a quiet place serving typical Chinese vegetarian food. Specialty is the curry (without coconut milk). Also try the kam hiong veg chicken, and KangKung Belacan (a spicy Malay styled spinach), majerine veg prawn, lime with sour plum. Kitchen closes 3-5:30pm. Open Mon-Sun 11:30am-10:00pm.

The food will be cooked upon your order. I'm not certain of the time it closes but I can only presume early. So best to go early to avoid disappointment!Like most vegetarian places locally it's closed from 3 to 6pm for mid day break

I went there several times before 9pm and found it always closed. It is quite anoying to make all the way to find it always closed...
