Delicious & Very Reasonable Portions!

For such an unassuming place, the food definitely was not shy on flavour! The owners are so lovely... not a frown in sight. I felt it was risky to eat here after reading the last view, but it was very nice for an extremely reasonable price. As others have mentioned, it's about 10 mins from Chiang Mai Train Station. The locals seem to like it here too.

Pros: Tasty, cheap, big portions & smiles all around.

Cons: Mains were a bit cold (as expected)

Good Food but....

The food was delicious but as I was enjoying my meal some other customers finished and left. The owner put their left over food back in the pot to serve to others 🤢

Delightful hole in the wall restuarant

Perfect if you arriving in Chiang Mai by train as it's only 5-10 minutes walk from the station. The lady who runs it was so friendly and helpful, I got 2 dishes for 30 baht plus she brought me out some delicious soup for free. Can't recommend this place enough and I'll try to come back before I leave Chiang Mai

Pros: Super cheap (everything is 30 baht), Close to train station, Great portion sizes

Best food in Chiang mai

Best Vege food in Chiang Mai. Flavours are amazing and the food is cooked with passion. For 30 baht you get an extremely generous portion of food.

Limited but great

This place doesn’t look like very much, but for a cheap and tasty meal it’s perfect.
We had both the cabinet items and the noodle soup. The noodle soup was great. Tofu and veg with rice noodles in a sweet broth. The lovely lady who runs the shop put together each portion of soup freshly so it was hot.
The mixed plate had piping hot rice and the veg dishes. Both were very tasty.
The owner was so friendly and nice. For 30BHT it was a great meal.

Not open at 06:30

Not open at 7 am. Unfortunately, bc I was STARVING! Went back at 9 and it had opened. The food is a bit tasteless, like many other places lite this, but there’s soy sauce. We’re big portion for the 30 bath you pay, so totally worth it! As the standard is: the food isn’t warm, not even in the morning. But I’ve never gotten sick.

Cheap & delicious

Small, hole-in-the-wall eatery, very local. I tried the noodle soup, it comes with vegetables, tofu and some mock meat. Not spicy and very tasty. Also tried the bolognese sorta thingy with rice, super delicious. Both 30 baht. Sign says 100% vegan.

Cheapest place for the size of the plate

The food was super tasty (no need to add soy sauce) and the portion was generous especially for the price (30 B). There was 4 different dishes and each one had a lot of vegetables.

Pros: cheap, tasty and healthy food

Cons: not a lot of choices

Cheap, hefty portions

This is one of my regular spots during the work week, the lady who runs the joint is sweetest! She always has about 5 pre-made Thai dishes ready serve, never lacking flavor. Her noodle soup is pretty good as well. I can never leave this place without buying a snack to go as there are many to choose from(fruit, chips, sweets, etc).

Pros: CHEAP (30B max per person)

Cons: Some dishes tend to be a tad too greasy

Super cheap and super tasty with big portions

30 baht gets you a huge portion of rice and two choices from the six or so mains that have been that day. Also a free clear soup. Takeaway portions are also ridiculously big - they could hardly close the box. Now one of my favourite places.

Best Food in CM...Maybe best in Thailand! 30baht a meal. Amazing!!!

Been coming here almost everyday since I've been in CM and I have to say it's the best food I've had in all of Thailand. The buffet style food is awesome. The noodle soup is amazing. And if you're lucky enough to be in town on Buddha day (falls on the day of the full moon each month) then you can sample the delicious Khao Soi! The banana in coconut milk is also amongst the best I've tried, you can actually taste the banana and coconut rather than it being overloaded with sugar like 99% of other Thai restaurants seem to make it. Go here.

Pros: All vegan, following the Chinese ideals - no garli

Cons: None.

100% best food vegan food in the city

This place is amazing. Been going for almost two years and I'm amazed at the flavours everytime I go eat at this place. Chinese style vegan, so no onion, chives, garlic used in the cooking. The staff are wonderful and have a real talent for cooking. Also, be sure to go on Buddha day if you're in Chiang Mai as they cook extra special dishes. My favourite in Chiang Mai and possibly the world!

Pros: lots of options. always changing menu. good sweets

My favorite vegan eatery for breakfast and lunch

I drive here almost everyday, as it's not far from where I live. Huge, delicious, diverse rice plate, served with complimentary mushroom soup and salad, or a hearty and filling noodle soup. Both just 30 baht. And of course (?), free water with ice.

Ran by two lovely, sweet, social grannies. I always practice my Thai with them, and they're always surprised at the amount of fresh chili paste I put in my meals :D "Aroy mak!"

Incredible, I think they should raise their prices a bit, but it seems like they've been doing this for decades and that they like it just the way it is.

Pros: Cheap, large meals, delicious with lots of diverse

quick bite

40baht for a plate of rice with 3 additions to it + a broth-like soup. The owner was super friendly. There wasn't any English spoken but she understood all that was being said. Nice place for a quick stop.

Cheap, delicious, and healthy!

Loved eating here! Got 3 dishes over rice with a small bowl of broth for 30 baht and found it all very tasty. Loved how much greens and veggies came with the food compared to other restaurants around. There were six dishes to try so I got another portion to try them all and was the most full I have ever been from a 60 baht meal. A would definitely recommend!

Pros: 30 baht per meal, lots of veggies, plenty of options

Cons: none

Tasty, fast, friendly

This is a tiny little restaurant with a simple selection of prepared veggie items. My friend and I stopped in for a quick lunch and found everything delicious. The friendly owner piled our plates high with 5 dishes over brown rice and a small bowl of broth on the side. We both left feeling very satisfied and for only 30 baht per person you can't beat the price. If you're in the area stop by for a tasty lunch.

Pros: great value, fast and filling

Cons: small and a little untidy

Simple Food

After a good search I found this eatery to get some food for my continued travel. A ordered some dishes to take out. From menue (in thai) I got it should cost me 50 baht but I was asked for 100 baht. When asked whit pointing to the menu, she said some thing about the noodle soup other guest where eating. I don't know, just ask for the price in advance ;-)

One of the dishes I had was really great, the others good. But in one we found a big worm...
