Delicious food, friendly owner - Edit

We've been going to this place since it opened. They started out as a 100% vegetarian cafe with tons of vegan options/specials. In order to stay in business, unfortunately, they are no longer 100% vegetarian. They do, however, still offer lots of vegan options and lots of delicious fresh pressed juices. I tend to order the "Ecstatic Vegan" every time (brown rice and kale, topped with tofu and peanut sauce. It's delicious! They have a pretty diverse menu and are open mostly for breakfast and lunch. The owner (Glenn) is super friendly. Yes, it can be slow at certain times of the day. They don't have a ton of people working there and the food is pretty fresh, so that's to be expected. I highly recommend this place if you've got plenty of time and want some fresh, healthy food or juice. Reason for 4 stars: not entirely vegetarian anymore and it can be slow at times.

Pros: Healthy, delicious food, Super friendly owner, Good location

Cons: Can be slow at times

Best for Area... Room for Improvement - Edit

There is no other restaurant like this in Easthampton. They have fresh juices, great smoothies, coffee, espresso, tea, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options that are tasty and worth trying. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, generous, and caring. The owners want to make you happy and make sure you leave content. All pros that make this place worth going to and returning to if you have the time.

With all that in mind, food takes longer than it should and the food is not necessarily consistent. Sometimes there are baked goods, sometimes there's not. After ordering a particular dish several times, I can say that often the food is completely different depending on who was preparing it.

My overall feeling is that this is a restaurant that is run by people with HUGE hearts and a love and passion for good food and feeding it to people who need it. I also get the feeling they are also people who have not run a restaurant before.

If you have the patience and time to wait for good food and juice made by good people, do not hesitate to check this place out. If you're in a rush or are looking for a quick stop for your morning soy latte... this is definitely not the place for you.

Pros: Friendly, Home-made, Great Options

Cons: Slow, Not consistent, Did I say "Slow?"

Not a fan... - Edit

Extremely slow , took almost 30 minutes to get my order and I was on break from work. I don't expect fast food, but this was terrible, and no one said a word although there were people who apparently work there who were not doing anything. Two sat at a table going over paperwork., possibly the owner. When the food arrived, it was mediocre. A lot of bland rice, minimal vegs, plain tofu, and a little sauce. Very disappointing.

Pros: Good desserts, made elsewhere

Pleasant Place with Tasty Food - Edit

Had lunch here and was thrilled with the fact that I could go totally vegan. The waiting staff is friendly and it's like going into a neighborhood coffee shop. The ingredients are fresh and the salad I had was very tasty. Highly Recommended.

Pros: Tasty Fresh Food, Friendly wait staff, vegan options

quality vegan food - Edit

Christine's has an excellent open and funky atmosphere for the town. I have ordered salad, tofu scramble, and juice, and all were unique in their offerings. The tahini dressing from the salad was unlike any other tahini dressing I have had; the scramble's home made vegan sausage patties were good, and the carrot-ginger juice was delicious. The food is made-to-order and fresh, so the wait can be a while if there are a few customers in the queue. If you have the time, this is the best all-around vegan option in Easthampton.

Pros: Vegan options abound, Healthy & wholesome, Fresh juice menu

Cons: Service can be slow

An Easthampton treasure - Edit

One of the few vegetarian eateries in the Happy Valley. Best juice bar in the area. Excellent specials, plenty of vegan and GF options, super friendly staff. Their lunch entrees are especially good. They will go out of their way to accommodate you and answer questions. If busy, they can be slow.
