I had the Mexicali Vegan salad. This salad is made with romaine & spinach along with roasted sweet potatoes, black beans, hearts of palm, grape tomatoes, tortilla chips, jalapeño peppers and Mexican Goddess dressing. I substituted the jalapeño peppers with avocado (which is an upcharge). Loved the Mexican Goddess dressing!

Salad on steroids! - Edit
Exceeded my expectations. My fav salad spot will always be Sweetgreen, however the Mexicali vegan salad substituted with kale and cabbage & cilantro blend (instead of menu romaine & spinach) @ Chopt is close to the top of my list of best salads EVER.

Great fast casual salad shop with vegan options - Edit
We really like Chopt, in fact it cemented our migration to the plant based lifestyle, although we rarely go there now because it's just so stinking busy and it's hard to get a table during lunch time. We've only once been disappointed, when a salad bowl was far from full, but we realize we should've taken that up with staff at the time (again, it was just so stinking busy...). The salads are excellent, the soup fabulous although it may be vegetarian not vegan (looking at you tomato basil with no ingredient list). Really just a fabulous place and we wish we had one down in Spring Hill also. And one everywhere else.
