Lots of Excellent Choices - Edit
Water fried bao are fantastic. Salads excellent. Vegan Dan Dan Noodles are good, but I’d get the Bao.

I am a fan of the vegan bao, especially the water fried version. Quick delicious vegan lunch if you’re in the neighborhood.

$9 lettuce sandwiches - Edit
I got 4 items and only 1 was decent but nothing to rave about. The vegan buns were $9 lettuce sandwiches, wouldn’t recommend at all. The mushrooms were not bad but the garlic taste gets old quickly. The Dandan noodles had dill pickles in them and only God knows why. The steamed buns were really the only thing worth getting.
Read morePros: The steamed buns , Hot and fresh , A handful of vegan options
Cons: The steamed buns are the only thing worth getting, Multiple vegan options but disappointing , Why are there dill pickles in Asian noodles?

Wanted to give them five stars but Happy Cow doesn't allow that for nonvegan restaurants - Edit
My wife discovered Chopstickers a couple of months ago, and we have ordered many times since. I'd never heard of -- let alone tasted -- "bao" before, but OMG... these little pockets of heaven are now a necessity of life!
Read moreWe love the vegan water-fried bao, which are little savory dumplings filled with a tasty mix of vegetables, which you can top with a dash of spicy oil for an extra kick. I dare you to try to eat just one... they are SO good! The vegan dandan noodles are wonderful, too... the noodles themselves have a wonderful flavor and texture, and the sauce makes the flavors even better.
These are already delicious vegan options, and the proprietor mentioned other veg-forward dishes are in the works; a few months from now, there will likely be more menu options without meat or dairy.
Finally, I should mention that Chopstickers is a very economical takeout option, because the serving sizes are generous. Each order of bao represents two meals, and if you order noodles too, you'll get to enjoy this delicious food for a couple of days.
We are so happy we discovered Chopstickers and encourage you to check it out too.

Bland and Overpriced - Edit
I was SO excited to try Chopstickers after seeing the vegan options and wonderful reviews! I ordered vegan steamed bao, vegan water fried bao, and vegan dandan noodles from NoCo Nosh. The food arrived lukewarm, despite the delivery driver’s apparent wait at the restaurant and short delivery distance. The noodles were the most disappointing: The dish was mostly soggy and sad noodles with a mild peanut taste and a large amount of yellow corn, a few pickles, and some green onions. I was excited for what I thought would be the highlight of the dish: Two broccoli florets … only to find out that they weren’t fully cooked. I was expecting a more developed flavor profile, but no. The bao options were ok, with the water fried bao tasting like greasy cheap fry oil. The steamed bao was the best of my order but still lacked flavor. Overall, it was bland and overpriced, especially considering that the prices on Nosh were already marked up compared to the website.

A few good options - Edit
I think I got the dan dan noodles and some bao. They were good and I trusted the staff's knowledge of ingredients and the integrity of the veganess.

Amazing food - Edit
I tried both the steamed vegan bao and the vegan water steamed bao (which has a crust on the bottom) and the fillings are the same and both are delicious. Both my vegan and non-vegan family members LOVED the food and we've been back multiple times. The vegan dandan noodles were good, too, but the bao is better in my opinion. The bao comes with soy sauce and a yummy spicy oil to dip.
