Lots of Vegan Options - Edit
Although there were a lot of vegan options, the flavor was disappointing. I ordered two dishes because I was excited to finally try this place and I could not decide. One meal had glass noodles that were drenched in oil. The curry wasn’t great and I didn’t care for how the tofu was prepared. I normally love Thai food but unfortunately was disappointed with both dishes from Chon Thai, especially after hearing others say how wonderful it is. That said, I’d probably try again sometime in case it was an off night.

they have an entire dedicated vegan menu with soo many amazing options, i should be able to give this place a 5 star!!! first of all this is the cutest thai restaurant ive ever been in. our two waitresses were so sweet. our food was so fresh and healthy!!! the fried rice came with SO many different fresh veggies, you never get that at other restaurants! their orange sauce is so natural, you could tell its made with fresh oranges, wasnt as thick and syrupy as most orange sauces. they for sure make it in house, as i’m sure they do with a lot of their dishes. i loved that all of our dishes came with a fresh slice of orange too. fried rice had soo much flavor, not like chinese fried rice at all, so yummy, hubby absolutely loved it. this establishment is very health conscious, my hubby and i loved it!!!

spice level: their mild is spicier if it’s in a dish that doesn’t have a sweetness to it, like the fried rice, it was much spicier than I imagined a mild to be. but for the pad thai and drunk noodle, since they’re sweeter dishes, the mild is perfect for a little kick that’s not overbearing. enjoy!!!😄

This place really needs to have five stars. Just the fact they have a separate vegan menu is so accommodating and helpful when you’re in a hurry. The Pad Thai was amazing. I’ve probably had it at at least 15-20 places and this was by far the best. I like my food a little bit spicy but I still like to taste it. This time, since it was my first time, here, I decided to do it with a mild spice. Glad I did. It was perfect.

The vegan menu is amazing! Food is always fresh and flavorful. Love the orange cauliflower. The Tom Ka soup is to die for! Then for the summer I love the papaya salad and mango salad. Love that I can come here with my non vegan friends and all of us can have a delicious meal.

Discovered this gem because of happycow and am greatful we stopped in. I love that they have a separate menu for vegan dishes that they are expanding, and most items can be modified to be vegan. May (the owner) came by to chat with us, she is really sweet and she really understands our diet. I love atmosphere and decor here. service is quick and friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I've not had amazing That food since I came back from Chiang Mai 4 years ago. Hard to find great vegan Thai. This place nails it! The Pad Thai was absolutely amazing. The authentic Tamarind flavor really sings in this dish. Great vegan menu, cute clean and classy place! The owner is especially nice!

Chon Thai Food has a VEGAN menu!! Even if it's not on the menu most items can be made vegan!!! The atmosphere is casual. The food is amazing. I can't wait to go back!
