Tasty! - Edit
The food was delicious. We got the bruschetta toast, burrito bowl, and an acai bowl. Everything was very tasty. The only reason I took a star off was that for the price, the servings were very small. We were all still hungry after eating there due to the small portion sizes.

Perfectly delightful light lunch for a beach day - Edit
Conveniently the only vegan food spot at Whalers Village. Easy to locate, tucked to the right when walking downstairs. To-go food with several tables available (shared with other food spots in Whalers Village).
Read moreOrdered two items:
- Burrito bowl: really tasty! The sauce was good but with there was more.
- Wow Maui smoothie: very smooth and refreshing
Friendly and kind service, although was a bit frustrated when we asked for an extra container to split our dish. Would have normally charged us an extra fee but kindly didn’t charge us this time!

My go to spot for açaí bowls, smoothies and lunch - Edit
I love this place. The staff is kind and very helpful in offering suggestions when you’re wavering between a couple dishes. If it weren’t for the bee products used, I’d have given them 5 stars. It’s easy to skip the honey but there were some things (a smoothie I think) that was based on bee pollen so I didn’t try that. They also sell some gift items. I bought a branded bag that is more long than tall so it’s perfect for bringing rolled up towels, snacks, drinks, snorkel gear to the beach. I also purchased one of their insulated water bottles and it’s fantastic Can’t wait to be back on island to get my fix!

Expensive but Pretty Delish - Edit
I ordered their holiday specials- macnog and a Twix bar. The nog was ok, the banana was overpowering. The Twix bar was INCREDIBLE! I have another trip back here next week and will be heading over for some yum mines!

Great for a small meal while at the beach - Edit
Stopped in and grabbed an açaí bowl that was great. When I ordered I missed that the açaí bowl had honey but caught it before they finished making it and they were able to keep the honey off. One problem is that the small space means you have to basically stand at the cashier to read the menu, which made me feel pressured to order quickly.

Cute little kiosk - Edit
We only made it here on the last day of our holiday and I really regretted not coming sooner and having the chance to try more of their menu. The juices are delicious and come in glass bottles which they reuse and the gluten-free banana muffin was delicious!

Pros: Almost fully vegan, Healthy options, Prices are ok

Fully Plant Based! - Edit
This place more than makes up for the lack of vegan options at the major restaurants.
Read moreAçaí bowls were a big hit, which led us to trying the rest of the menu. The cold soba noodle bowl was fantastic. Three of us had different smoothies that were the best we’ve had in years. The sweets were also unique and crazy delicious. Visiting daily!
Pros: Entirely plant based menu, Online ordering
Cons: The smoothies are a little expensive but filling., The kiosk menu is tough to read. Order online.

Convenient & Delicious! - Edit
We went here several times during our trip to Maui. We stayed in a condo near the resorts so it was only about a 15 minute walk. Everything we tried was delicious and more filling than we expected (both their açaí bowls, all their salads, & cosmic cookies)! Staff was always super friendly.

So Yum! - Edit
This place is great! It can get busy but the staff are always welcoming and ready to answer any questions you have. The Ka'anapali Point bowl is fire, add extra honey to take it the extra mile.

Great bowls and smoothie options, out door patio seating near by. I forgot to say no honey, and they fixed it immediately! Steps away from the beach.

Yum - Edit
We had lots of food here since we were staying next door. It's not 100% Vegan but almost fully. The smoothies bowls are delicious! (Leave off the honey!) The "Bomb.com Bar" was killer!!!!! The fresh juices are super refreshing! The papaya shaker and the noodle shaker were great for lunch! They'll have Muffins most days that tend to be vegan, organic and gluten free. All the ones we had were real tasty! It very pricey but that was expected.

Easy to order vegan - Edit
Since all is vegan, it is easy to order here. They do serve honey, but it’s easy to ask for none. I’ve only had their POW abunga acai bowl and POW hana smoothie, but they have tasted good so far. Acai bowl comes in 2 different sizes, and the small was the right amount for me, a small breakfast with a variety of toppings. Overall, a great healthy place that was no fuss. It also made me happy to see a bar that is all vegan!

Choice Health Bar - Edit
Review from late 2019. I was so happy to see that Choice expanded to multiple locations since I last visited Maui. This location is conveniently located in Whaler's Village and is a bit smaller than the OG location in Lahaina.
Read moreI ordered the Kale Caesar Salad to go and was disappointed for a variety of reasons. First, the salad was basically $12 and when it was handed to me, it was super light. When I opened the box I was basically given massaged kale with a little bit of nutritional yeast crumbled nut mixture. When I actually tried the salad it just tasted like kale (aside from the bit of nutritional yeast) and I didn't pick up any caesar flavoring at all. The quality of the kale was fine but I felt let down overall by this salad and expected more from Choice.

Best Buddha Bowl Ever! - Edit
Whenever I visit Maui, I stop by the Choice Health Bar and pick up a Buddha Bowl. It is a perfect combination of warm soup topped with a fresh kale salad. It is the tastiest and healthiest meal ever! Choice Health Bar also offers a great selection of smoothies, juice and acai bowls. They are located in Lahaina but also have other stores at the Whaler's Village and in Pa'ia.

Perfect location, Excellent food - Edit
This location is a small kiosk set up in Whalers Village by the food court. It doesn’t offer a lot of the choices found at the larger locations, but provides plenty to choose from for a quick meal if you’re shopping or spending the day at the beach. They have salads, acai bowls, wraps, smoothies, cold pressed juices, and raw desserts. So far, I have tried the chocolate chia mousse, chia brownie, sprouted oats, the ka’anapali point acai bowl, and the burrito bowl (from the Pa’ia location). Everything has been wonderful! I was so excited to find healthy food to eat while visiting Maui! If you are vegan, vegetarian, or just like to grab a healthy meal now and again, you won’t go wrong eating here.
