Vegan chocolates - Edit
These desserts is sold in the same kiosk as Noqa Vegan, and by the same proprietor--so at the end of my meal at Noqa Vegan, I ordered some chocolates to go.
Read moreThey were out of vegan pudding, and I didn't want the vegan ice cream, so I ordered some chocelletas and a chocoron. The proprietor grabbed a huge plastic bin, and we rustled through the bin to pick four items that looked tasty--and they were! If you are looking for fancy artisanal chocolate, you can find stores all over Lima and Peru that offer vegan chocolate items. But if you're eating in Noqa Vegan anyway, it couldn't hurt to grab some chocolates for later. It's a pleasure knowing that everything here is vegan!

Vegan ice cream - Edit
Located on the roof of a mall as part of a vegan restaurant. They had 3 ice cream flavours available the day I went. I chose strawberry which was a bit icy but had a good flavour. Not bad for 4 soles per scoop.

Vegan version of this local treat - Edit
Loved these. We couldn’t help but to come back for more. This is actually part of Noqa Vegan. I’m not sure if it’s a separate brand or company, but it’s the same space as the restaurant. They have several flavors. We tried cashew, pecan, and aguaymanto (Peruvian ground cherry). I enjoyed each one, but the aguaymanto stands out the most to me. Maybe because it was the first one I tried and that first impression is hard to beat. Second favorite is cashew. I’m still dreaming of that crispy chocolate coating.
