Don’t come here for waffles - Edit
They had a vegan page in their menu, which was very nice, but when 5 of us ordered vegan waffles, they told us they “only had 4.” I was discouraged by this as I assume it meant the waffles were frozen. They took a while to make the waffles, and when we finally got them, they were rock hard- they tasted freezer burned. The chocolate topping and the vegan crepe were good, as was our vegan iced chocolate, but we were very disappointed by the waffles. They were so hard we couldn’t finish them. If you are looking for vegan waffles in Brugge, go to Otto Waffle Atelier; they were much better there (and not frozen)! Additionally, the service was strange: we had to ask multiple times to pay.

I’m always happy to see a vegan menu at a non-vegan place, but I was a little disappointed by the waffle. It was too hard and crispy. I had the one with fruits, it came with strawberries, banana, and melon. The melon does not work with the waffle imo, banana and strawberries are enough! The chocolate sauce was decent.

I was very disappointed. The last time we were in Bruges, three years ago, we enjoyed the vegan waffle options at this place several times, and they were delicious. Today, the waffle was dry and hard, as if it hadn't been freshly made. I wouldn't recommend it. We told the waiter, who was honest about our disappointment and didn't charge us.

They had such a good selection with waffles and pancakes that were vegan! Not a fully vegan cafe but still a lot of options. I went for the waffle with speculoos. So delicious and not very expensive. Nice staff as well.

Awesome that they have an entire page dedicated to vegan items. The pancake mix was empty so I was told I could either get a waffle or wait ~15 minutes, I waited and ended up receiving one after like maximum 10.
Read moreThe pancake itself is good, a small snack, but the pistachio paste was a bit artificial. Too sweet. Maybe next time I'd get another filling or a waffle, but overall this place definitely deserves to be on here :))
Also don't be shy to ask for extra wishes... their menu includes way more vegan toppings/combinations than the green pages says😉

I was surprised to see mixed/negative reviews on here. We had a a really fabulous experience! We got two crepes (pistachio and chocolate with mixed fruit) and two vegan hot chocolates.

I was so happy that I could get vegan waffle and crepes and hot chocolate, but I was disappointed. The pistachio cream was so fake and the waffle dry, speculoos crepes and hot chocolate were nice. Though the stuff was clearly not passionate at all about the vegan options (literally said to my parents to get the non vegan one cause the vegan waffle is not as good), them having vegan option is only a matter of business (which is fair enough but the point here is that yet again vegan options in non vegan places are not as nice as they could be)

The place is very cramped so not a lot of seating is available. There is some seating outside if you don’t mind the cold. Staff seemed a bit annoyed / unhappy, not a particularly friendly experience. They have a dedicated vegan waffle menu which is great but I felt the waffle itself was a little flat. A bit dry and underwhelming

I was happy to find a place that offers vegan waffles, but it was a disappointment when I arrived.
Read moreI didn't feel love and passion in the place, just a good business model in a touristy city like Bruges.
The interior was a bit old and messy, and for me the hygiene could have been better too.
They were throwing menus on the empty tables from far away which for me gave off bad vibes, like someone who didn't really wanted to be/work there.
The waffle was not great, but oke-ish and the coffee was good.
The staff was not rude, they just didn't seem to care. I prefer places where people show more love and passion for what they do or make. The overall experience for me wasn't good so I won't go back there and I wouldn't recommend it, which is sad for a place that offers vegan options. I would even call this place a tourist trap.

As there was some uncertainty whether the toppings are vegan or not, I asked explicitly. They showed me the sauces, and they are vegan.

The waffle was ok, a bit dense though, and the caramel sauce was definitely a sweet sugar overkill (would not order this again).
Nice selection of teas, I had a forrest fruit tea.
It is very remarkable though that this place gets so many fabulous reviews from brand new accounts, and some even with photos from behind the counter 😉
