Fantastic Option - Edit
Beautiful cafe, only one vegan option, but it is excellent. The one option is listed right on the order screen. On the day we were there the staff did not speak English. However they were very friendly and the order screen has English and the staff were happy to use Google translate. Would definitely go here again. The

When I spoke with the staff they said they are open everyday and the day we ate was a Tuesday.

Good dish, not vegan by default - Edit
When I went there, the order is self-made via a machine at the table. The dish is noted “vegan” so I did not specify anything. The rice came with a fried egg on top and one of the side dish was fish cakes.
Read moreSo it maybe useful to specify to the staff if you are vegan.
The dish was spicy and excellent.
Pros: Tasty meal
Cons: Called “vegan” but not vegan

life saver - Edit
When you are a vegan in Sokcho it’s not so easy to find food- so this place was a live safer fr ! There‘s only one vegan meal on the menu, but it was super delicious and filling (and compared to Seoul so cheap!). The owner was super kind. I can only recommend !

Vegan option on menu - Edit
Having struggled in South Korea to find vegan options, finding a vegan option in the menu here was great. Really tasty meal, tofu, rice and delicious. Can't recommend enough.

Not vegan, but can veganize one delicious tofu meal. - Edit
Not vegan, but can veganize one delicious tofu meal.
Read moreThe address in Happy cow was wrong so I added a picture of the right address. I hope Happy cow will change it soon or it will be hard to find. We found it with the help of a nice Korean man who was plowing the land where the restaurant was supposed to be.
Ask the chef to prepare a vegan meal and to not make it spicy if you don’t want that.
The restaurant is a bit out of the way so check if it’s open.
Pros: It was good
Cons: Staf doesn’t speak English, but the chef understan, Only one dish

Simple but delicious meal!! - Edit
This sweet restaurant in Sokcho can veganise one dish - tofu in a sauce (a bit spicy), rice and banchan. It was delicious!! I explained in Korean that we are vegan and they immediately understood; would work with an English explanation too, I assume. We went there twice and it has been a wholesome vegan Korean meal, which we enjoyed a lot.
