Favourite place in Vila! - Edit
Always my go to for easy lunches and dinners in Vila, a few vegan options too. The map tofu is amazing, does usually come with a fried egg though so just make sure you specify yes/no to it.
Read moreThe fried tofu was okay, was a massive serving though so really good value for your money.
Last time I visited in mid May 2024, they were open the first couple of days and then closed for the rest of the week, not sure if they were short on staff but fingers crossed they haven't permanently closed as it's a great spot.

I had lunch here three times, and only tried one thing on the menu, but it was good. A simple meal of mapo tofu with steamed bok choy and rice (white rice). Was cheap and tasted pretty good.

My husband and I had mapo tofu with a side of greens with mushrooms and rice. It was filling and delicious. Very spicy, just as I like it. Very good option for vegans in Port Vila.

Great for vegan in Port Vila - Edit
Listen this place has at least 8 solid vegan dishes — which is amazing for Port Vila. We are used to not using much oil and salt, and unfortunately this place uses lots of both. But a solid must try if you like Chinese and are a vegan visiting Vanuatu. It seems taxi drivers don’t know it. Just tell them it’s opposite the Grand Casino.
