Set up is assembly line style where you could customize your order of tacos, burrito, or burrito bowl, and request no cheese or sour cream. Offers a savory sofritas filling that's made from soy protein, and some locations offer Impossible meat. Rice, beans, guacamole are vegan. In early-2019 added a pre-configured vegan bowl which includes the sofritas in addition to other fillings like guacamole. Open Mon-Sun 10:30am-10:00pm. Open daily.

Decent non-GMO Food, Cust Svc Inconsistent - Edit

Chipotle is one of the very few restaurants in the Daytona Beach area that offers non-GMO food, and for that I am grateful. Chipotle in general has tasty food with a few vegan and vegetarian options, for a reasonable price. The sofritas (non-GMO soy meat) burritos and hard tacos are a good, tasty, inexpensive meal. Chipotle's guacamole is fresh and tasty, as are the other ingredients. The staff at times can be stingy with portions, so I often have to ask for more. I'm not cheap and looking for something extra, they often are inconsistent with portioning, and at times obviously heap huge portions on the plates of their friends coming through the line.

I've never had poor quality or old food at Chipotle, they do make it fresh, but the caveat with that is, they also often run out of vegan ingredients which requires you to stand aside and wait for about 10 minutes while more is made.

Customer service in the Port Orange and Daytona Beach stores can be spotty depending on day of week and time of day. If you come on a slow time like Sunday evening after 7 pm, they often run out of ingredients and you might have to wait an extra 10 minutes or so for them to cook more. The same often holds true when they're busy, as on weekend nights around dinner time, 6 to 7 pm. Chipotle has a hard time keeping staff, apparently because they don't pay well and the work is super mundane, according to one of my employees who used to work for Chipotle.

So in general Chipotle is a good place to get an inexpensive fast vegan or vegetarian meal, but keep your customer service expectations low.
