Set up is assembly line style where you could customize your order of tacos, burrito, or burrito bowl, and request no cheese or sour cream. Offers a savory sofritas filling that's made from soy protein, and some locations offer Impossible meat. Rice, beans, guacamole are vegan. In early-2019 added a pre-configured vegan bowl which includes the sofritas in addition to other fillings like guacamole. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-10:00pm.

Fave Fast Food Mexican Chain

Chipotle is a fast food chain to get excited about. I believe the bowls are the best value, but you could get a burrito or salad if you prefer. All rice, beans, vegetables, salsas, guacamole, chips, and burritos are vegan, as are their sofritas - shredded tofu braised in chipotle chilies, roasted poblanos, & a blend of aromatic spices - which make a real nutritious & delicious option whether you're vegan or not. Note: If you skip sofritas and go for the veggie option, guacamole is included.

Pros: Fast service, a real delicious, nutritious, & filling meal, & it's a chain (locations are all over).

Cons: Frugal vegans, like myself, have a difficult choice to make: guac, or sofritas... 🤤😫🤔

Delicious and Fast

Two great vegan options in place of meat. They’ll fill you up on all their veggies, salsa, beans, and guacamole.

Pros: Fast, Filling

Cons: Busy at lunch
