Serves meat, vegan options available. Mexican fast food chain founded 1993 in the US and now operates outlets across North America and several more overseas. Set up is assembly line style where you could customize your order of tacos, burrito, or burrito bowl, and request no cheese or sour cream. Offers a savory sofritas filling that's made from soy protein, and some locations offer Impossible meat. Rice, beans, guacamole are vegan. In early-2019 added a pre-configured vegan bowl which includes the sofritas in addition to other fillings like guacamole. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-10:00pm.

There's options

I like Chipotle's options, they're usually not exorbitantly priced and I could get a decent meal for a few hours, in me. However, be really wary when they're making your food (especially burritos) for cross continuation with potentially dairy or meat. Even if they roll their eyes at your request to over wipe the counter as they make your order. If they offer the veg options, they should be conscientious.

Always a good choice

I love their sofritas burritos with guacamole. I order one and eat half, then save the other half for lunch the next day. It is just as delicious the next day after being in the fridge

decent but too salty

the sofritas is really good and most of the other stuff si really good (the red hot salsa is delicious but its too spicy). My main concern is the sodium level. Its almost unbearable. I personally avoid.

Also I hear that chipotle gets their chicken from particularly abusive slaughterhouses/famrs

Pros: good, affordable

Cons: way too salty

Chipotle is a reliable stand by

Chipotle is the same in Davis as everywhere. There are always good, fresh, nutritious, inexpensive vegan options. This Chipotle is in the center of town, they are clean, courteous, friendly, fast and there is always seating available.

Pros: Reliable, Open late for food
