Serves meat, vegan options available. Mexican fast food chain founded 1993 in the US and now operates outlets across North America and several more overseas. Set up is assembly line style where you could customize your order of tacos, burrito, or burrito bowl, and request no cheese or sour cream. Offers a savory sofritas filling that's made from soy protein, and some locations offer Impossible meat. Rice, beans, guacamole are vegan. In early-2019 added a pre-configured vegan bowl which includes the sofritas in addition to other fillings like guacamole. Open Mon-Sun 11:30am-9:00pm.

Steak inside my vegan burritos

Found steak inside both of my vegan burritos which should only have sofritas. About 5-6 different medium size pieces of steak. I will not eat at chipotle again unless it is an all vegan restaurant.

Filling Fast Food

Chipotle is a great place to go for vegan and vegetarian options. It has a non meat sofritas option. My personal favorite is a black bean, brown rice, and sofritas with mixed veggies, lettuce and corn salsa. Their guacamole is my favorite.

Pros: All quality products , Very filling , Catering options

Cons: Expensive , Not a lot of veggie options

A Good, Fast Option

I am a fan of the veggie bowl with sofritas on the side. A relatively healthy (and tasty) option while traveling or short on time. It sucks to see dead animals while ordering though...

Pros: Decent vegan options, Affordable, Great salsa

Cons: Impossible to avoid dead animals in the shop, Marketing of “humane” meat is problematic

I don't go here often since there are so many local restaurants in Bloomington, but it's tasty.

They have the spicy tofu option, vegetarian/vegan items labeled on the menu. Basically the same as all the other Chipotle stores.

Pros: New tofu option
