Great Local Chippie so glad we found it!!!

There are several vegan options cooked in a separate fryer with vegan chips which they cook in vegetable oil. Vegetable nuggets, burgers and sausages are all tasty options.

Pros: The staff are super friendly. , Call ahead and ask for vegan chips and options, They taste good and aren’t too greasy

Cons: They do get busy so always call ahead., If the vegan fryer isn’t on you hve a long wait.

Beef Tallow :(

We placed an order for delivery -the 'vegan scampi' was not available so we ordered the vege-burger and chips. As soon as the order arrived we recognised the smell of beef fat on the chips so my husband phoned the restaurant to check what they cooked their chips in and they confirmed that it was animal fat. He pointed out that the chips are therefore not suitable for vegetarians or vegans but they didn't seem to understand the significance (or didn't care).
We ate the burger which didn't smell or taste of animal fat and had to throw the rest away.
One star because I had to.

Cons: Food cooked in animal fat
