BEST Yen Ta Fu in Hat Yai.!! 🙏🏻☺️

Usual selection of Jay dishes with Rice from the trays, often they have Penang, Massaman etc too!
Ching Sin though have the best Yen Ta Fu in the city, absolutely love it.! Available on request! Their Khanom Jeen is brilliant too!!
It’s great to come on a Sunday as they have Speciality dishes such as Khao Soi, Khao Yam, Nam Ngiaw, Hor Mok and sometimes even Vegan Pizza which actually pretty good 👍🏻☺️ …very unique to find Vegan versions of those dishes here in Hat Yai and they’re all very, very good quality 🙏🏻☺️
Prices are very inexpensive as you’d expect with a Jay Cafe and staff are really lovely too…very homely feel…

…Ching Sin is highly recommended, I go every week atleast 👍🏻☺️

Pros: Yen Ta Fu best in the City, Amazing specials on a Sunday, Good selection of Jay Dishes and fantastic Staff

tasty, made to order food

The food tastes good, and is MSG-free. They don't speak English, but they might understand your order :) I may have forgotten, but I think there's no English menu, and no pictures ... but again, I could very well have forgotten. This place takes your order then cooks the food, unlike most veg places, where the food is sitting in trays, already cooked, and you point to what you want. So, this place is not where you eat if you're in a hurry! Also, the food is a bit more expensive (50-70 baht) than most places with food in trays. The place is typical of Thai eateries, and veg places in particular, with the usual decor: nothing special about how the place looks. Plenty of seating. They sell herbal and fruit drinks too. I forget but I think they don't have any foodstuffs for sale, certainly nothing refrigerated. They are not strictly J/Jay, so they will use the onion family plants if you want. If you avoid those, that's okay, they'll cook the J foods in a separate pan. I forget what kind of rice they serve. If you stand facing the place, and go to your left, all the way to the main street and turn left at the traffic light, there's another veg place about 50-75 meters from the corner. This place serves food in trays, for 30-40 baht per meal, on brown rice. Also, there's a small health food shop on this corner with the traffic light. :)

Pros: tastes good, good sized portions, no MSG

Cons: a bit more expensive than cafeteria-style places, they don't speak English
