Chinees Vegetarisch Restaurant Yuan

Yuan - a classic in The Netherlands! Located off the beaten (tourist path) - 40 minutes by train from Amsterdam Central station - you won't meet too many tourists here. But I don't know any vegetarian or vegan from The Netherlands who does not know this place.

I don't come here often since I don't live close by, but once in a while I meet here with friends coming from all over the Netherlands. Mainly for special occasions (specially ordered buffets or Christmas dinners).

Apart from special events: Yuan has a huge - mainly Chinese - menu to select from and is still as good as it was 12 years ago when I went here for the first time.

The staff is friendly and helpful.

The food at Yuan is vegetarian/vegan heaven! There are a lot of choices, around 90% of the menu is vegan or can be made vegan. The staff is super friendly, and willing to help with making choices when ordering, or asking if something is vegan yes or no. Had a lovely experience, and I will definitely go back here when visiting Holland again!

Great food, good service. Menu in Dutch only. You can choose with our without egg, making most dishes vegan. Nice place!

Yuan is one of the best vegetarian restaurants we have ever visited. Food is fresh and very tasty. Vegetarian/vegan is easy to discern. Staff are friendly and pleasant. Prices are very reasonable. If you like Chinese food and want vegetarian, you will not be disappointed with Yuan!
