Serves meat, vegan options available. Chinese cuisine offering various vegan options made with tofu. Specify no fish sauce or egg when ordering. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-10:00pm.
West Yellowstone has slim pickings for vegans. Most of the restaurants listed in Happy Cow have just one or two viable options. Chinatown appears to have by far the biggest variety of vegan items on the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the crispy tofu and the hot and sour soup was good. I'd like to try the other vegan options but the crispy tofu was so good, in spite of the lack of any other vegetables in the dish, that I'm inclined to skip the others. Chinatown gets mixed reviews but our experiences on two visits were entirely positive. My only gripe is that I brought my own can of craft beer in but it turns out there is no such thing as BYOB in Montana; it's against the law to allow diners to bring their own alcohol unless a restaurant has a liquor license, and a restaurant that serves alcohol by rights shouldn't be required to allow customers to bring in their own. Not Chinatown's fault.
If you are a hungry vegan in Yellowstone, it is Good… - Edit
Not the best. However, there was one woman from the staff and she helped us to get something… we had vegetable tofu soup, fried tofu (extremely salty), and Buddha delight (steamed vegetables with some sauce)… this place is overpriced and the selection is horrible but good enough in case you are tired after a long day in the Yellowstone NP.
This is my favorite Chinese place in town (out of two). Tofu (bean curd) with brown sauce and tofu and veggie soup were great. Non vegan dad was impressed with vegan food.
Went a second time, had 5 spice tofu with celery. Maybe best Chinese food I've had
I would not go anywhere else in town. The non-chinese places have 1 hour waits, and Chinatown is better than Red Lotus (and more vegan options).

One of the staff (a lady) was very helpful and showed us what was vegan on the menu. The food was good and we enjoyed it.
