CLOSED: China Town Food Paradise
Vegetarian buffet on the right side of the China Town Food Paradise food court. Offers a large variety of mock meat and vegetable dishes. A meal costs 7-12 ringit - pay by the amount of food you take. Directions: Petaling is the main market street in Chinatown. Walk south from intersection of Jalan Hang Lekir and Jalan Petaling (this is the center of the market), walk 90 steps south and you will see China Town Food Paradise on your right. In the food court, you will see an area marked "vegetarian food." REPORTED SHUT DOWN SINCE NOV 2014.

Good for the price - Edit
I have been twice to this food court. The vegetarian buffet is located on the right of the entrance, you cannot miss it. There is a lot of choise. The advantage of a buffet is that you can try a bit of everthing. The ladies running the stand are really nice.
I paid 5 to 6 ringgits for each plate. The food was good, but not delicious, as you feel that it was cooked long before. However, for such a price you don't have to expect more.
Pros: Cheap and good food, Many choices, Friendly staff
Cons: Crowded place, but clean

Inexpensive, Great Taste, Big Variety - Edit
If you visit Kuala Lumpur, chances are that you will visit the pedestrian street "Pedaling" which is a market area very popular with tourists. You will recognize the street because it is covered by high metal archways. In the food court called "China Town Food Paradise", on the right hand side, you will find a buffet. It is simply marked "vegetarian food". There are many mock-meat dishes and lots of green vegetable dishes. The way they charge is not entirely clear, but at lunch I paid 7.5 Ringit (US $2.50) for a large plate of food. At dinner, I paid 5.5 Ringit(US $1.80) they charge less before closing time). The two women who run the place are very friendly. All the dishes I had were light and flavorful. Drinks are available in the back of the food court. You can take out if you like. The place had a good crowd at lunchtime.
Pros: Flavorful, light food, Big variety, Great value
Cons: Don't expect fancy ambiance
