I WOULD GIVE THIS 5 STARS IF I COULD - Edit
I am only not giving Chili Fagara 5 stars because that is enforced by Happy Cow because it’s not fully vegan. This was the best restaurant I tried in Hong Kong BY FAR. I ordered the lunch menu, which came with a soup, several small appetizers (fried okra, eggplant with peanut sauce, and my favorite the woodear mushrooms in chili oil), my choice of main dish (I opted for the twice baked tofu 🤤), and a little dessert.
Read moreThe service was wonderful. When my server learned I am vegan she got so excited and showed me all the different menus they have, including a Jain menu. Instead of water you get hot tea, which for whatever reason was the perfect accompaniment to this Szechuan experience.
I went here a month ago and I’m still thinking about this place regularly and my only regret about my trip to Hong Kong is that I didn’t go back before I left.
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ HIGHLY recommend.
Pros: Woodear mushrooms in chili oil, Service, Twice-baked tofu

Excellent food and many many vegan options. Delicious. - Edit
The menu is divided up by taste and style rather than meat/veg but there are loads of things available and loads of substitutions to make dishes vegan. Food was perfectly spiced with all the big flavours of the cuisine type, but all the subtlety where needed. Really enjoyed the meal here. Service was charming and knew was vegan was - something that can be a real struggle in HK.

Cons: Not the cheapest but not much is in HK these days

Fantastic Chinese food with great range of options - Edit
This is definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants that offers options for omnivores and vegans. They also have separate menus for gluten-free and jain eaters. There's a huge range of options (I can't even count the number of dumplings on offer), and many dishes offer Impossible meat for an added surcharge (the major downside to this restaurant). Every dish we tried was spectacular. I would be happy to go back and try more, but it is fairly expensive so it's probably more of a special occasion-type place.

Spicy Sichuan restaurant with vegetarian and vegan options - Edit
I've ordered takeaway from "Chilitarian" which is the vegetarian branded version of Chili Fagara. There are options to also add Impossible Beef.
