Didn’t sit well with me - Edit
I’m giving this three stars because the meal was good (I had the mushroom red mole) but it did not sit well with me, but someone else might have a different experience. I’m vegan and the waitress assured me that the plate was 100% vegan after checking with the kitchen. The chips though are cooked in the same fryer that they use to cook meat, and their flour tortillas (well almost any flour tortilla) have lard.

Superb Vegan Traditional Mexican Cuisine - Edit
I had a lovely dinner here with my non-veg partner. There are several vegetarian options which are either already vegan or easy to ask them to leave out the cheese & crema. I got the portobello dish with red mole sauce and beans and guac, which came with the most delicious fresh tortillas. There was both indoor and outdoor patio seating, our server was knowledgeable about vegan menu items, and the food came quick. I think this place would be great for groups or parties with people on different diets. I’ll definitely be back again!

Sloooooow - Edit
We were told we had a twenty minute wait, then watched people pour out of the restaurant several times over. Meanwhile they didn’t seat anyone aside from a very large party that arrived long after we did. One party even had someone enter the building to check on available tables and reported that there were several that were empty and clean. The staff didn’t seem too concerned with the people waiting, instead leisurely cleared tables, sometimes carrying only a cup or two, and didn’t keep us informed of our table status. We ended up waiting an hour and a half to be seated after standing in the sun for the entire time. Unfortunately, the long wait impacted our overall experience.

Something other than the regular Mexican foods - Edit
Conveniently located near the Union station, this restaurant serves foods based on old traditional recipes. The menu has a vegan section and when it's possible to veganize, there's a yellow "V" on the left of the name. The foods were delicious and fresh.
