great Hummus - Edit

This place is clean, nicely decorated and in the heart of the city. It’s not too expensive and there is a lot of food. I had the falafels & hummus with a side of pita bread.
Definitely go for lunch if you are in the area.

Super tasty hummus and tahini sauce!! - Edit

We were not disappointed by Chickpea's gorgeous tahini sauce and hummus! We ordered the pizza falafel (two halfs of a pita with quinoa falafel, fresh tomatoes and nice cucumber-tomato-salad with mint and, of course, hummus) and the mushroom pita. Both were delicious and filling - we will definitely come back! :)

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Very tasty food, Nice location

I love chickpea - Edit

I eat here regularly and love it. The staff is so friendly, whoever I take with me, even with my whole family we are always so welcome. They frequently give some extra's for us to taste.
I love their most simple dish with hummus and pita and salad. Extra pita bread is only 90 cents. Their green spicy sauce is to die for.
Check their facebook page for opening hours/days. They are sometimes closed on days you'd expect them to be open.

Pros: Good fresh food, Lovely staff!, Good location, love the interior.

mmm Falafel - Edit

Delicious falafel, was so happy to eat here after a long break without it. Their menu clearly states which options are vegetarian, vegan, which is really helpful.

great lunch stop - Edit

Nice place for lunch. The homemade iced tea was great and I had The Full Monty - hummus with some quinoa falafels. Gluten free and vegan options and indicated as such on the menu card. Their extra homemade sauces like the chilli and the coriander were really nice too. Decor inside nice and clean.

Wonderful humus and falafels - Edit

It's a very cozy place. Staffs are very welcoming and helpful. They have menu in different languages. Menu is quite various (including different beverages), and they serve lots of vegan options, which are clearly labeled (along with gluten-free dishes). We ordered humus with falafels, a pita and a salad and a drink. And a waiter said that we could get one more salad for free. They also provide you with two types of sauces. I definitely recommend that place. I saw other dishes that were ordered by different people, and they looked mouthwatering. I definitely recommend that place.

Pros: Lots of various vegan and gluten-free options, very delicious dishes, genuine and very friendly staffs

Cons: A bit pricey, but the place is worth visiting

It was ok, but... - Edit

They moved to the Melkmarkt, which is better for them, I think. The small restaurant is always full of people.
We took my father in law there together with a friend. They had a non-veg lunch and were very happy about the humus. Talking about the vegan/veggie options: there's some choice, but the base is mainly the same (the name of the restaurant speaks for itself :-)). There's not much variety in tastes. I liked the humus, but as I often make my own, I didn't think it was something special. Also my quinoafalafel was too dry. My husband took the pizza falafel, which was original. Friendly staff and quick service.
For what we got (very small portions), we found it a bit too pricy. It was not bad, but I know falafelbars in Antwerp who serve much better falafel.

Pros: In the middle of the center of Antwerp, Very tasty tahinsauce, Friendly staff

Cons: Rather expensive for the small amount of food, Dry falafel
