nice vegetarian spot ..went 4 breakfast; had an open poached egg sandwich plus a refreshing mango blend; enjoyed it; relaxed ambiance in the yard; nice people; recommend it!

Located in a residential area of town, seated in a garden in a cosy atmosphere (but maybe bring mosquito repellent). Ran by a very nice family who is knowledgeable of veganism and happily helps to veganize some of the non-vegan items on the menu.

Definitely a recommendation when being in Dumaguete.

Delicious veggie food with lots of options - Edit
We’ve only been in Dumagete for 2 days so far & it’s the second time we’ve eaten at Chia which just happens to be close to our hotel. Such a refreshing change in the Philippines where everything seems to me meat-based.

It's vegetarian/vegan. For the drinks they use honey instead of sugar. For their smoothies they use coconut milk. The food is tasty and fresh. We like the outside seating. I can recommend to create your own plate (go for the mushrooms!).

Cozy place and very cheap, but to be honest the food was bland and dry. Maybe we didn’t get the best option they had (we got quinoa bowl and Tex mex) but it was definitely not very good. The mango smoothie was good tho
