We will definitely be returning. The food was delicious and unique. Staff was very helpful and kind.

Absolutely delicious and filling!

Absolutley delicious food, not greasy at all. They use styrofoam for takeout packaging so bring your own containers for takeout. Make sure to bring a container for the pupusas, another for the slaw, and yet another for the salsa. I also highly recommend the steamed yucca (it's like mashed potato - make sure to ak for it to be vegan).

Support this mom and pop restaurant.

This is a happy surprise as this is the first vegan pupusas I've ever had. They use cashew cheese and the portions are the typical "tortilla" size. The condiments were just enough to compliment the already rich flavors. I highly recommend this place.

Pros: 3 vegan options!, Jackfruit, brand and cashew cheese, and veggie, The food was savory and creamy. Overall phenomenal

Hit the spot

I tried the two vegan options:bean and cheese, and jackfruit. I enjoyed both. Good size pupusas, not puny.

An absolute gem!

Chevere is a veg-friendly treasure! My go-to order is just a bunch of vegan jackfruit revuelta pupusas. The cashew cheese is creamy and smooth, and the seasoned jackfruit is unobtrusive and mixes well with the flavor of the beans. Their curtido is so tart and crisp, and perfectly accompanies the pupusas. They give you 1-2 containers of it per pupusa in my experience.

I really like that despite the restaurant serving meat, the pupusas available are easily made vegetarian or vegan- just specify to whoever takes your order. Prices are very reasonable, too!
