Not good

It should be fairly easy to make decent vegan Thai, but in my opinion this place failed. While the deep fried tofu appetizer was good (pretty standard, but good), the entree I got (Krapow) was super salty and very bland. The tofu was thrown in raw and had zero flavor. Would not recommend for vegans, but my non-vegan friends were happy with their lunches.

Cons: Too salty , Bland

Good Napa option

You may find this surprising but vegan food (especially something with tofu) is hard to find in Napa. I moved here recently from Dallas, TX, and I have to say the vegan options in Dallas abound when compared to Napa. Because of so few listings on Happy Cow, I have made it my mission to hunt down vegan options in Napa.

What I like about Chetuphon is that they can veganize almost any of their dishes. The wait staff are very knowledgeable about which dishes contain fish or oyster sauce. I ordered the Cashew Nut dish with tofu and the presentation was perfect. The portion was large and the vegetables had just the right amount of crunch. The only negative is that the tofu seemed a little soft. I prefer a firm tofu that is either steamed to give it some bite or pan fried so that it is crisp. Nonetheless, I greatly enjoyed the meal and am happy that I have another option in Napa.

Pros: Almost anything can be veganized, Big menu, Knowledgeable employees

Cons: Tofu texture
