Update: have been back many times and each has been great. Beers and wines are all labelled and they put on the best vegan Christmas for our university vegan society:)
Read moreWanted to try the banana blossom ‘fish’ n chips but unfortunately they had no banana blossom, instead they said they could do me a battered vegan sausage and it did not disappoint. The potion was super generous, the chips were amazing! Would be 5/5 if I could:)

I absolutely love this place, before and even after I decided to go vegan! Fresh food served by amazing people in a relaxed atmosphere in the middle of s busy city centre. What's not to like in that? It's like a paradise island to call home 🥰

Lots of choice - Edit
Lots of vegan options and had some gf options too. Had a great breakfast hash and my friends had a full vegan breakfast/pancakes. My friend eyeballed them giving me dairy milk by accident and then they corrected this, so have marked down for this only.

2 adults 2 teenagers and this is what we ordered-
Read moreHearty Vegan (scramble could do with a bit more taste) vegan breakfast Muffin beautifully presented, rocky road homemade American style pancake stack and white chocolate biscuit millionaire.
Drinks were a slightly mellow flavoured Chai latte but with tons of cinnamon and a great cardamom taste at the end.. A really lovely vegan cherry milkshake and a vegan flat white.
Lovely very filling big portions.
Shame the whole place is not vegan if this is the standard of vegan food!

Cozy café with lots of vegan options - Edit
This Cafe which has two floors and has a really cozy interior serves many dishes which are either vegan or can easily be made vegan. For example pancakes, English breakfast, porridge, burgers, sandwiches, fish & chips, milkshakes and hot drinks. I've tried some of their vegan cakes and hot chocolate which was always delicious. Staff is also super friendly and prices are reasonable. Though it can get really hard to balance your hot drink up to the frist floor since the stairs are really steep.

Pork on vegan breakfast - Edit
Actually gave us pork sausages on our vegan breakfast. Not acceptable to be this slack when running a meat and veggie/vegan restaurant. Take care or don’t do it at all

Good brunch, nice coffee, lovely space. - Edit
Had a really good vegetarian breakfast here, but had to make it up ourselves as really not a fan of the linda-mcartny style vege sausages that came with the fixed menu. Not quite sure why people rave about the hash browns, they're basic packaged frozen ones.
Read moreThe coffee (americano) was really good, and staff super friendly.
The space is lovely, especially upstairs.

Welcoming and friendly street corner cafe bar with outdoor seating in a pedestrianised area. Not sure why you'd go to bewdog over the road with this place here! Wish it was my local.

Great Breakfast - Edit
I came here with an Omni friend and she got the vegan pancakes which she said were great. I got the matcha porridge which was excellent and the service here was very friendly and accommodating. They have so many vegan options and serve breakfast all day. This will definitely be a staple for us while we are here.

AMAZING brekkie - Edit
for an omni restaurant, the vegan choices really are unparalleled. This was a fab choice of place to end my birthday weekend, I ordered the matcha porridge and a soya latte (they sure make a cracking coffee) although there was a wide range of savoury dishes and even vegan pancakes. The place was super busy even though we arrived at opening time, it actually made us laugh out loud when we arrived to swarms of people also marching towards the door! The only downside was that non-dairy milk in drinks is an additional 30p. There is a wide range of vegan cakes/ bakes and there was a vegan specials board item (breakfast burrito).

Cozy place that can be a bit crowded, but there is additional seating upstairs. Order food at the bar then they’ll bring it to your table. Coffee was excellent and the folks working there were super nice! Despite the many vegan options in Birmingham, I went back for another visit during my stay!

Lovely little cafe - Edit
Popped in last weekend on the hunt for a decent vegan breakfast close to the city centre. We both ordered the vegan pancakes with blueberries, sliced banana and maple syrup - generous portion sizes and really tasty! So impressed that we even returned for lunch on the same day after noticing that one of the specials was a vegan fish finger sandwich with chips and coleslaw.. this was equally delicious and filling. Both meals were good prices too. Will definitely return, but will remember to leave room for some of the delicious looking vegan cake next time! :)
