Best vegan food in Paris - cozy and inviting - Edit
Update 2024: still amazing food, but experience a bit less amazing as the music was a bit loud and not my style (trap to dinner: not my type), but lovely servers and kitchen staff.
Read more2022: Pizzette is amazing, so were the makis, grilled mushroom on garlic mousse and the winter rolls. Simply amazing!!

The only vegan restaurant I could find that was near the Philharmonie. I had a concert and ordered through their site, called to let them know I would be a bit later than the original pick up time that was available on their site. It was no problem, they were very kind. I arrived before closing time. Everything packed nicely for take-away. The food was very good! Fresh and flavourful. Would recommend!

I took line 5 here and it was easy enough to find from the metro. It’s also quite a nice area to wander around. I had booked, but I was given the stool. This is my least favourite option when seated. I understand why they do that for one person, but it can be awkward and I was in the back corner very close to a table. To say my descent was awkward would be an understatement.
Read moreAnyway I ordered the plate of the day (curry, rice, peanut sauce, mushrooms, fried plantain, okra) It was nice, but there was a lot of rice. Way too much for one person in my opinion. I really liked the okra. The drink I had was nice and the staff were lovely.

The cuisine is organic, vegan, homemade, local and seasonal, it starts very well.
The atmosphere in the kitchen is particularly pleasant, you can feel the involvement of the brigade in the dishes, it smells of professionalism and team spirit in a good mood.
We are served by very original dishes, succulent and hearty.
As a starter, we took cauliflower wings (very pleasant in the mouth) and mishikos (maki breaded with marinated carrots that melt in your mouth).
In mains, I fell for a carlita, focaccia with red onion, aubergines and roasted zucchini, lots of good things on the plate, which really hold.
The burger of the day was a bun with a chickpea pancake, with roast mirabelle apples. A hearty and delicious dish that deserves a detour.
For dessert, I took light, a moon, vegetable bite, dark chocolate shell, pink pistachio ganache! and I was able to taste the strawberry hibiscus dome, a light delight that melts in the mouth.
Even the butchers right next door eat there very often, that is to say!!!
In short, a place that is well-established, welcoming and that appeals to the surrounding area with its atmosphere, its colorful, gourmet and homemade cuisine!

Read moreChoix entre plats à la carte ou menu du jour, personnellement j'ai opté pour choix à la carte, envie de tester le bao aux pleurotes. Si la présentation du plat n'était pas jolie jolie en revanche c'était vraiment super bon! Le jus de fruits pressés maison était lui aussi très bon. Choix de desserts également disponible mais pas testé aujourd'hui. Je recommande l'endroit 😊

The menu is a fusion of different types of cuisines: you find plantain croquettes, makis, baos, burgers (on Fridays), raw tarts and a brownie. They also have a daily plate with Afro-Caribbean flavors mostly.
It's a short walk from the Hoche station on Line 5, which takes you very quickly from/to Paris, so a small detour will be certainly worth it.

I tryed the sandwich "[censored] Sand" and the plantin bananas croquettes "Reine Tasi". I was a bit disappoited by the size of the portions and a bit by the taste as well. There were interesting mixes of flavors but to expensive (9€ for a 10cm sandwich and 7€ for three croquettes..) J'ai essayé le sandwich "[censored] Sand" et les croquettes de bananes plantin "Reine Tasi". J'ai été un peu déçue par la taille des portions et un peu par le goût aussi. Il y avait des mélanges de saveurs intéressants mais trop chers pour ce que c'est (9€ le sandwich de 10cm et 7€ les trois croquettes..)

Went back the same week and I confirm my first impression: the staff is very friendly, and the food very good First time, I only had the daily plate, with soba noodles, fried asparagus, zucchinis and peanuts. I found the prices a bit high (compared to other restaurants in the area) and may not come back too often due to that, but the quality and variety of the products must be taken into account, such as the fact it is all organic and (almost completely) seasonal products. All things considered, it is great this place opened, and I'd recommend going there if you are passing by the area. Second time I had a starter (a smoked aubergine with salsa verde, coconut crumble & hibiscus) and a dessert (the banana-chocolate pie is VERY yummy!). Despite the price, I may come back more often as I previously thought, given it's by far the best restaurant in the area.
