Cheng's Garden

My husband, myself and our 17 year old son are all vegan. While visiting Shreveport we looked up vegan restaurant options (there are very few in the area) and came across Cheng's Garden! Very clean place! We tried General Tso tofu, Sesame tofu, Hot chili sauce tofu and a couple, a couple of cucumber avocado rolls and a vegetable roll. Everything was really good. Best tofu we've ever eaten by far!!! Nice large portion too! We actually ate there twice. Very friendly staff and we will definitely eat there again when we come to town!

I would give this place 5 stars if I could. Beautiful restaurant. Very clean and well kept. Ordered the General Tso's tofu and seaweed salad. Large portions and very delicious. Very polite and helpful staff. If you are a Vegan or Vegetarian traveling through Shreveport Louisiana, stop here and eat. Very few options for us in this part of the world. This place is great!

I've dinned in twice now but have order take out through on the go delivery at least 40 times. I have eaten the general tso and sesame tofu, peanut avocado roll, avocado roll, vegetable roll, sweet potato tempera roll, fried corn nuggets, vegetable delight, and vegetable tempera. Everything was wonderful! They have never made a mistake on my order. The restaurant itself is beautiful and relaxing. Please ignore location/outside appearance. It's very clean, new, and pleasant. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Food is fresh and delicious! They know what vegan means and have an extensive vegetarian section on the menu - most of which is vegan. A variety of vegan sushi is offered and they will even make you custom rolls as long as they have the ingredients. There are not many places in Shreveport with a good vegan selection. This is one of the few. They are enthusiastic and helpful and will gladly check every ingredient when asked. They happily veganize dishes when asked in addition to the regular vegan offerings. Will make you steamed broccoli (or any other vegetable you like) with no oil and no salt if asked. Excellent tofu and good quality veggies. Much healthier (if you order right) than any other Asian restaurants in Shreveport.
