Excellent vegan restaurant - The Best - Edit
Get vegan lunch and Oat based ice cream for dessert. Try the Tempe Burger. She adds so many layers of fine food that one burger is a feast!! We had Cauliflower salad that was excellent as well. Then for dessert had the Rocky Road oat ice cream. Wow, that was great!!!
Read moreThe staff was excellent overall. Such healthy tasting, and great nutrition is so unique. If you are vegan or vegetarian, you owe it to yourself to enjoy Chef Tanya’s cooking. They have many, many other vegan dishes to enjoy. More great lunches ahead.

Amazing Chef Tanya - Edit
The best house made tempeh I have ever had. I don't think I can buy store bought again. This location is huge and beautiful. The staff so amazing. The food is so delicious it is indescribable. So many desserts to choose from. You can take home so many already cooked meals and so many vegan products and gifts. We are visiting from out of town and wish we had a Tanya's kitchen near us. We have eaten here 3 times within a week and plan to squeeze one more visit in before we go back home.

Yum - Edit
I wish this food was the standard, not the outlier. Delish, well curated gift ideas. We had the soft serve and they carry rebel cheese. I’ll be back—can you have one of these in every town?

Make sure to leave room for dessert - Edit
I visit the Palm Desert area about 4 times and I always come to Chef Tanya's Kitchen at least once during each visit. Every savory dish I've had has been so delicious - recently, I had the OhMyGatoTaco salad, and the Gordo Chili is fantastic when I want something warm and comforting.
Read moreBut without fail, I never leave without ordering a Crystal Blue Persuasion haboob. It's vanilla soft serve, with lavender-infused blueberries and candied ginger mixed in. The flavor combination is unique, and I love it.

I stopped at Chef Tanya’s during a road trip and may have found my new all-time favorite vegan restaurant! The Guadalajara burger was amazing and flavorful! With plenty of to-go options, I spent the next few days enjoying their mac and cheese, lasagna, and several desserts.
Read moreI purposely timed my return trip so I could eat there again. The bagel sandwich was to die for! Seriously the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had.
Don’t skip Chef Tanya’s if you’re remotely close to the area! (And if you’re not, definitely plan a trip anyway, so you will be close. 😂)
Pros: Great options, Flavorful combinations, Extensive to-go selection
Cons: Only con: It’s not closer to home.

My favorite Vegan Sandwich Place - Edit
It is just too bad we don’t live close to Chef Tanya’s. It is my favorite place to have vegan sandwiches, soup, and salads. I have been following her since early 2000s when she owned the Native Foods.

Visiting from out of town- Love it! - Edit
We were visiting out of town, in the hotel that we were staying at our server had recommended chef Tanya‘s kitchen. We went there for dinner the next day and lunch the day after that. Great food and desserts. I only wish they had a location in Michigan, they would rock it in Ann Arbor.

Always great food with a smile! - Edit
The Palm Desert location of Chef Tanya's is much larger and welcoming than the one in Palm Springs. There is also a Kreamery attached, so desserts are readily available. As the menu doesn't really change a lot, I typically order the special that is posted on the board adjacent the cash register. I haven't been disappointed yet.
