If I could give zero I would - Edit
Two days in a row the restaurant closed with no notice on Instagram, Facebook or anywhere else. I planned my day around visiting this spot and I’m so disappointed. Horrible customer experience, don’t waste your time

Thank you, Happy Cow! - Edit
I was ready to give up. It seems my choices everywhere else were salad, fried cheese, or questionable risotto. Cue Happy Cow search!
Read moreChef & Co was near our hotel and the menu looked good. And goodness, it was!
I had the fried cauliflower as appetizer and butter beans for my main. The fried cauliflower was good; the butter beans with a lemon-sage sauce and toasted sourdough were amazing. I took a slice of the chocolate-pumpkin babka home—haven’t tried it yet, but it looks great!
My dining companion had the dill & nori fermented fries and the pumpkin udon curry. I stole a few fries—worth a second trip, that’s for sure!
So glad we found this place. Creative menu; excellently prepared food; very reasonable prices. (And they accept cards)
Pros: Fermented fries did not disappoint!, Pleasant and helpful service, Centrally located
Cons: None at all!

Convenient location in old town - Edit
Butter beans was a fabulous entree (5*) and the fermented fries with spices and (costs extra) vegan mayo based dipping sauces. Service was really nice. Peanut udon was also good (4*). The upper area not large but there is also a downstairs area.

Nice little place - Edit
This is a nice little restaurant quite close to where the boat rides start. I had the soup of the day, which was carrot gazpacho and which was delicious. I also had the fried cauliflower, but it wasn‘t that good. The batter was very thick and hard and also tasteless. I wouldn‘t recommend it.

The staff were friendly and there is a variety of vegan dishes to choose from.

Very tasty! - Edit
For October, when I was here, they had a separate pumpkin menu. I went for the Curry Udon with Pumpkin. Great choice! (Though, I imagine other choices would also be nice.) Highly recommend.

So Delicious and Fresh!! Must try in Prague - Edit
Everything we tried was absolutely delicious and so fresh, with unique flavors. We went twice during our visit to Prague and tried the fermented fries (with dill/nori seasoning and truffle mayo - yum), kimchi croquettes, dill soup, butter beans, peanut udon noodles, and the brioche for dessert. 11/10! If I lived in Prague I would be a regular.

Expensive, okey food - Edit
The restaurant is expensive, that is the very first impression you will get. I know, it is the city center, so I take that under consideration. But the food is just good, nothing mind blowing.

Great Find - Edit
We stopped in for an early dinner. We ordered the quinoa salad with squash and the Bean and rice plate. Both very unique in flavors and ingredients. Also had the fried cauliflower and edamame . Also very unique in flavors. We were stuffed but still ordered the brownie and ice cream very generous in size and also delicious.

Delicious food - Edit
We got sour cherry lemonades to drink. These were very well balanced between sour and sweet and made for a good refreshing drink on a hot day.
Read moreTo start, we got a plate of kimchi croquettes to share. These had a really good crispy coating and were filled with rice and kimchi. There was a blob of spicy mayo on the top too. I enjoyed them but thought they could have had a stronger taste of kimchi. The salad they were served with was also really tasty, the cucumber had a good crunch and the dressing had a good balance between savoury and sweet.
I got a yuba sandwich and BBQ fermented fries for my main. Yuba isn't something I see very often so I was keen to get this. The sandwich was toasted and filled with marinated yuba, roasted peppers, salad and a herb mayo. This was also very good, I enjoyed the yuba and the rest of the ingredients went quite well with everything even if they were maybe a bit unremarkable. It looked far too messy to pick up and eat so I took a knife and fork to it. The fries were excellent. They had a good crispy coating and the BBQ seasoning sprinkled on top reminded me of bacon flavoured crisps.
My partner got the fried cauliflower with potatoes and really enjoyed it. The cauliflower had a great crispy coating and was very tender and soft inside. (I tried a piece and thought it was a bit overdone and too soft for me). It was a generous portion of potatoes and they were perfectly cooked. It was accompanied by a cucumber salad, this was sharp and peppery and provided a good contrast to the main food. It also came with a tartare sauce that was really very heavy on dill.
We got a brioche to share for dessert and this was also great. The brioche itself had a lovely soft texture on the inside with a good crust on the outside. There was a scoop of cream on top and a generous amount of miso caramel which added sweetness and some bitterness to the plate. There were also some hazelnuts which added a good crunch.
It is expensive and I can understand some of the critcisims that the plates are a bit small. Considering the location and the general increase in cost of everything I still think it's decent value for money. The service was very attentive. I liked that they had an additional seasonal menu that was based around tomatoes and if I go back soon I might try something from there. It was not very accessible though, there's a step up to the restaurant and the toilets are down a flight of stairs.

Very expensive restaurant - Edit
At this place was the restaurant Forky's, which was cheeper and better. Place is almost same, that before (only wall of famous vegans is gone 😥). This restaurant is so expensive. Three small crocuetes for 175 Kč and apple juice for 65 Kč (cheepest variant of drink). It was just us and a group of three tourists in the restaurant. With these exorbitant prices, we think this restaurant will last even shorter than Forky's. Vegetable cuisine doesn't have to be this expensive at all, even if it is in the center of Prague. There are other ways to do it. I really don't recommended this restaurant.

Mit dem Dessert kehrten wir zur Tomaten-Karte zurück;
