No more beyond meat, now they serve a bean burger - Edit
The bean burger on menu is advertised as vegetarian. I asked it the patty contained eggs or dairy and the waiter said “no, its vegan”. I ordered it lettuce wrapped with no mayo or cheese. They served it to me with cheese and I just peeled it off since it wasn’t melted on. But the fact that they had the cheese on there concerns me, do they know if the bean patty is truly vegan and not vegetarian?? Only time and other reviews will tell.
Beyond meat burger is vegan if you ask for no cheese, mayo, and sub in a gluten free bun for additional charge or lettuce wrap. Guac and grilled pineapple are good add-ons and made for an overall decent burger. Gluten free bun was a little crumbly and fell apart when eating.
They have a plant based burger, although I'm not sure the bun was plant based (brioche like). There's American football and baseball on the TV. The waiting staff were a mixed bunch - some clearly working hard, others were a waste of space so its a bit pot luck in that regard.
While the menu does feature beyond burgers, none of the burgers on the menu are vegan by default. Fortunately the staff are more than happy to assist with Veganising menu items. I ordered the Beyond Burger, without cheese and aioli to make it vegan, but added a second beyond patty (I was hungry) and grilled pineapple and guacamole - this ended up being a vegan burger masterpiece. While it would have been great if the restaurant offered vegan cheese and aioli, it wasn’t missed at all here as the flavour of this burger exceeded all expectations.
