Not vegan friendly

When asked what could be veganized, the waiter made fun of me for being a vegan and said basically nothing could be made vegan. Every vegetable dish was made with butter. I was able to get lettuce, rice, and broccoli. $10 for not even a full meal.

Not vegan friendly at all. Their vegetable plate choices are covered and steamed in butter. The green beans have bacon, the broccoli is steamed in butter...I could go on. I know the restaurant name says it all, but sometimes I am stuck going here with family who love it. After you hold the this and hold the that, you aren't left with much here. Once, after asking a bunch of questions, the chef agreed to steam some broccoli without the butter. My plate arrived with a plain, washed off baked potato and broccoli heaped so tall it was embarrassing...like they were mocking me. I agree, this restaurant should not be listed on Happy Cow.

Not vegan friendly

I recently ate at this restaurant. Since it is a “scratch kitchen, I figured that it would be easy for them to make vegetables without animal products. After asking the server about vegan options, a manager came out and apologetically said that there are very few vegan options available. Almost all the entrees and sides are made using meat, animal broth, and/or butter. I ended up getting a plain baked potato with a side of salsa and a plain salad without croutons, cheese, etc. I don’t think this restaurant should be listed as a Happy Cow option. Very sad.

Cons: Very few vegan options
