Food Court Stall - Edit

We were there around 12.50pm and most of the dishes were sold out.

So we just ate whatever that was left which was a vegetable dish and a noodle dish with rice. Food was cold.

Lady serving us was very very nice. She can't speak much English but she was smiling.

Pros: Cheap, Nice lady who runs the stall

Cons: Cold food, Extremely basic setting, no frills

It's clean, but it's definitely not upscale. Buffet had five dishes, all quite cold (not unusual at all) and white rice. I selected 3 dishes for 40 baht. The food was okay, nothing special. The Happycow description of the hours says: "On full, half, and new moon open 3am-6pm." Let me translate. This means that it's open when the nice lady who runs the stall feels like being there. It's in the basement of a market, so 3am-6pm probably corresponds roughly to the hours of the market. Another drawback is that, since it's in the basement of a market, there's definitely a bit of a meat smell. However, please give the place a try. The older lady who runs it is so nice. Think of it as supporting a vegetarian world. If you wander around Lamyai Market (at opposite Warorot Market) you will find what looks like a road leading underground. It doesn't look like it leads to a food court, but it does. On the day I was there, about four stalls were open. Many appear to be permanently closed. So, if you're in the market area, why not try it?

Pros: cheap, friendly, vegetarian

Cons: not fancy (if you care), not the most exciting food, a bit of a market odor

Pros: cheap, in the market

Cons: they put all of the food in little bags, and it's
