I forgot how good NHÀ TÔI VEGAN is. Clean, friendly, fresh food and with the friendliest kitten I've seen. Probably the best value vegan com tam in District 1.
Read moreThere use to be around 7 vegan/ vegetarian restaurants on or just off this street. Now only 3 are left, including this one.
They also have vegan coffee, but too late for me to try.
4 yummy meals set me back 158.000.

Ordered the fried rice and vegetarian ribs expecting a nice hot home cooked meal based on good reviews and appetising pictures here What came was a rice cracker from a packet and dry cold cracker called ribs ? I thought they had brought out some appetiser s before the food came and it took me about 15 minutes to realise this was my order. Language barrier was probably an issue , think they need help with the English on their menu as a rice cracker is not fried rice . Only not 1 star as they appeared apologetic about it

Delicious authentic local cuisine - Edit
The food was delicious and nice looking. The food was amazing and inexpensive. They also have a small shop where you can buy cookies, instant soups and other goodies. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They speak English very well. We've meet friendly local vegans to chat with which made the restaurant experience even more amazing.

Good range of food but hard to tell what it was from the menu. I had the 'goat' which was nice. I've no idea if it tastes of goat though!

We had our first hotpot ever! It was really good and a great experience. We also had the vegan goat on recommendation of the owner, was also pretty good. We can definitely recommend the hotpot!

Amazing and cheap vegan food - Edit
Had the buffet plate for 25k with choice of steamed rice, soup, 5 or more veggie dishes, about 3 tofu dishes, and a couple of battered/crispy fried items to finish it off. Everything was super flavourful and I was very happy to have a full plate of veggies again. Great, fulfilling food for a great price!

I ordered two things for order this evening: crispy fried noodles and banh mi. The noodles came with lots of bright, fresh veggies, but I didn’t feel like the dish was as tasty as it could have been. I’ve had versions of this from Chinese cuisine that have more flavor, often with a thicker sauce. The one here has a thinner sauce. Perhaps it’s just a personal preference. The banh mi was good. It has (at least) two types of mock meat alongside cucumber. I couldn’t believe how cheap it was—it was 15k vnd, which is cheaper than any street vendor banh mi that I’ve seen.

The owner speaks English and he is very nice. We tried a lot of different dishes and everything was very good! It is also cheap for Ho Chi Minh city (dishes around 30-40K)

Excellent food and staff. It’s very cheap anyway and even cheaper as I’m sure they undercharged me but no matter how much I argued they would not believe me and charged the lower price.

The service is excellent. They barely speak English, but Google translate helped a lot. They kept assuring us its all vegan. Soup was very good.
