Delicious vegan Latin food - Edit
Excellent vegan restaurant in Hollywood. The place is tiny in size but big in Latin flavors. I ordered an appetizer (fried cauliflower) , entree (the tamale) and dessert (lemon cake) to share and everything was tasty and full of flavor. Portions are generous and service is friendly.

amazing Peruivian - Edit
The restaurant food and drinks were amazing. The nachos were amazingly well seasoned. The mole enchiladas and chile rellanos were amazing. The key lime pie was pretty good, not amazing but good. The drink rosa de coco, wow!
Cons: small

waitress was not friendly - Edit
It's unfortunate for a place with good food to have unpleasant staff. It seems when a place is considered a little fancy or upscale, the portions are tiny, food descriptions elaborate and over the top and the staff has an attitude. Very sad for a place that could have been a success. It was empty when we got there...
Pros: The food was better than expected
Cons: Uptight waitress, loud staff.

Amazingly delicious - Edit
This is my favorite vegan restaurant I've been to in LA. Everything was delicately and interestingly flavored, and portions were hearty without leaving us with leftovers. Loved the enchiladas and the mac and cheese especially. Friendly service, comfortable space, not too expensive... I'm excited to go back and try more of the menu!
Pros: Plenty of delicious options, friendly service
Cons: Only a few tables and the rest is sort of communal

Tasty Brunch - Edit
We came for brunch with another couple and the Chavela side of the restaurant was closed, so we were seated in Los Balcones and given the Chavela menu. The brunch menu is much smaller than the dinner one, so we plan to go back for that. As for brunch, we shared a carafe of sangria. Two of us got the tacos and the other two got bowls. It was all tasty, but a bit on the small side, so we could have ordered more food. We decided instead to order more desserts to share. We got all the cheesecakes: chocolate, lime and pumpkin. All were excellent, but the chocolate was particularly memorable. Overall, a good experience, so we'd come back.
Pros: tasty dishes, friendly staff
Cons: small brunch menu

They have a great take on Peruvian food and it's awesome to have a vegan restaurant of this caliber in the neighborhood!

Unbelievable! - Edit
What an inspiration! I just ate here for the first time and am blown away. Really creative and incredibly flavorful on both the food and bar sides. Some all vegan places excel on one or the other, but this one covers all bases. I had then ceviche - which admittedly I haven't had in a long time because: fish, but their version is awesome. The mole enchiladas were bold and flavorful, but the desert - oh, the desert! An avocado-based chocolate granache. It was superb. No, beyond superb. As I write this I'm trying to savor the last bites, but I want it to last forever. Did I mention the drinks? So very, very good. Do yourself a giant favor and go here soon.
Pros: amazing drinks and food all in one place, great staff, cool, minimal ambience
Cons: none. zero.

nice dinner place for friendly meeting - Edit
Went there a week ago.
We had really good food. Staff was nice and place is cosy. It is a little expensive for the quantity they serve. Except for the price aspect we had really good moment. People seat next to each other so you always meet cool dude next to you.
They have also a fancy wine/sangria menu (we didn't try though)
Creative fusion kitchen and nice presentation. We recommend this restaurant for everybody
Pros: nice staff, food presentation and creativity, really tasteful
Cons: price a little up for quantity. , the chairs are not comfortable , food combining rules
