All veg/vegan in Granville Island - Edit
While some vendors offer vegan items, this place is all veg/vegan. Thai inspired rolls and bowls, plus ice cream. Tasty and healthy!

I was wandering round the public market at Granville Island as part of a tour, not thinking I’d find anything to eat! Then I spotted those immortal words “Everything is plant based”! I had “Midnight Swim Bowl” - rice blend, spicy peanut garlic soy mushroom sauce, organic mushrooms, beancurd, seasonal veggies, kale, lettuce, mung beans, crispy shallots, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, roasted peanuts. It was fresh, delicious and a huge portion!

Great vegan option at popular destination - Edit
It's really nice to have a dedicated plant based place in the popular Granville Island Public Market. Yummy salads with rich dressings thankfully provided on the side. Vietnamese ice coffee (like a coconut cream Kahlua) and other bottled specialty beverages.

The food from Chau’s came out quickly, the staff was friendly, and there were many options. However, the food was a bit underwhelming, and I have had much better vegan Vietnamese food. The pho was disappointing, as the broth tasted like regular veggie broth. The golden temple soup was significantly better, but it felt like something was missing. For the Granville market, it is a solid option, but I would not go out of my way to eat here.

Ate here twice so far & did not disappoint. We tried the namaste fresh roll, power salad & golden temple soup which were all very flavorful & filling. The server was really friendly & answered our questions, making suggestions on different options available. Definitely recommend!

This is a nice place to grab take out and eat by the sea. Been here a few times and the food is consistently decent. Watch out for tofu thieving seagulls.

I had the midnight swim bowl and sapa power salad. Both these options sounded great. The midnight swim bowl veggies were hot and made all the leafy greens super soggy. The flavours did not mix. It tasted like a bunch of ingredients mixed. It was too bland in my opinion. Also, I arrived 15 minutes after opening and I had to wait 30 minutes for them to take my order. I asked for no bags and no cutlery, but they gave it to me anyway. So disappointed. with my experience, but I hope they can improve.

A friend recommended the Golden Temple Soup, and it was indeed delicious - a very tasty broth (turmeric, coconut curry) and a bowl of vegetables, tofu and quinoa (could also have chosen noodles or rice). Also bought a salad roll to eat later, and it was very good, along with a dipping sauce. I should have bought some of their taro chips and dip.

I went there about one year ago the food was fantastic. Great to see a thriving local business in the tourist hell that is GI! and wish they had non-plastic containers for food, though.
