I love me some vegan pastries, and I would totally get some more here next time I'm in Caen. But to be honest, the taste of all 3 pastries we tried was a bit disappointing (by 2022 standards). Tasteless cream, way too acidic lemon curd... Still, it's a good thing when you come across an all-vegan pastry shop.

We had two of their tarts for take-out: a lemon meringue tart, and L'exotique (almond crust with passion fruit mousse, vanilla cream).
Read moreBoth cakes were great; but we prefered the exotique. The lemon tart could have been a bit less lemony; but I guess that's just a matter of personal taste.
Unfortunately there is no eat-in space (yet, I hope someday they'll be able to have one); but there is a park a few minutes from there; if you want to eat them right away.
There was also a sandwich, and they do also some other savory foods; so I think if you go early enough you may find everything you need for a nice lunch.
You don't find vegan cakes like this in every town, so people from Caen are lucky!
