Language barrier? - Edit
I saw on HC that the café offers a few vegan options. The menu wasn’t very clear - it said things like “vegan sandwich” or “vegan salad” with no further explanation.
Read moreI asked what’s on the sandwich and got suggestions like avocado and vegan cheese. Pleasantly surprised I confirmed the mentioned options.
A few minutes later I received the sandwich. Two cold slices of rather “cheap” bread (in Germany we call this bread toast, even if it’s untoasted) with even colder canned mushrooms, tomato slices and pickles. Maybe something else, but definitely no avocado or vegan cheese. As I took some bites of it (absolutely no pleasure) I couldn’t hold on and gave a feedback, that I’d continue eating, but miss the mentioned ingredients. We couldn’t really figure out what the problem was with the order, but it got something to do with the language barrier (we used google translator though). Anyways, the employee removed the sandwich from the invoice, what I didn’t expect, but it’s a nice gesture.

Große vegane Auswahl - Edit
Ein absoluter Geheimtipp in Olbia mit sehr leckeren veganen und noch mehr glutenfreiem Gebäck und Kuchen. Der Kaffee war auch fabelhaft, es gibt Milchalternativen. Außerdem z.B. erstaunlich gutes Eis aus Reisjoghurt, welches uns die Besitzerin (wir vermuten zumindest, dass sie das ist) einfach zwischendurch kostenlos serviert hat.

Die Dame, die das Café meinem Verständnis nach mit ihrem Sohn zusammen betreibt, war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und sehr gut gegessen!

Das erste Café auf Sardinien, welches wir gefunden haben, das ein vollwertiges veganes Frühstück anbietet. Wir hatten ein veganes Sandwich mit roter Beete, Avocado, getrockneten Tomaten, Gurken und Röstzwiebeln (sehr lecker und frisch, für 4,5€) und zwei vegane Kuchen, die von der Besitzerin selbst gebacken werden. Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell! Wir haben uns sehr wohl und verstanden gefühlt. Ein Geheimtipp für vegane Snacks auf der Insel!
