Genuinely booked my holiday around Charlie’s (being GF too) finding both options is very difficult. And they truly go above and beyond. Of course I had to take their entire cake selection back home to try… obviously with a bite of the raspberry doughnut in the car.

Great vegan breakfast - Edit
Lovely staff and great breakfast, tea was lovely too! All cakes are vegan and they also have a vegan cream tea which is a real treat! Would recommend :)

A lovely family run café. Whilst Charlie's does serve non-vegan products, much of their small menu is clearly marked as vegan or vegan option available and as an added bonus their entire cake cabinet was vegan when I visited. Our meals and cakes were delicious and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I'd definitely return if I were in Barnstaple again.

LOVELY staff and yummy vegan breakfast! 🌞 - Edit
Popped in here on a whim and was so glad I did. They serve an almost entirely gluten free menu, TONNES of vegan options (not your usual ones too which was really refreshing) and I can hands down say this is the best value for money cafe in Barnstaple. Really impressed, defo coming back soon! 🌱

Vegan cake heaven - Edit
I often stop here for their delicious oat lattes, in preference to the ‘chains’ of which there are plenty in Barnstaple. The array of vegan cakes make choice difficult! Staff friendly and service good.

Charlie’s has so many cakes to choose from it is vegan heaven and the portions are extremely generous! Well worth a visit
