Relaxing and positive experience - Edit
I enjoyed volunteering here and supporting with the pot belly pigs. So many amazing animals and people at this place. Will definitely be volunteering again soon.

Wonderful place caring for abused and abandoned animals - Edit
This sanctuary is a spot of sunshine with a beautiful welcoming center. The lawn walking up to the center was full of gorgeous planter beds of flowers and vegetables. Inside the center, you’ll find so much rich information about animal agriculture and it’s devastating effects on the world and obviously animals. Lots to look at and read. They have a small shop to purchase merchandise and foods like renegade “meats” and miyokos cheeses. Outside they have large enclosures for various animals that seem well cared for. What a wonderful place doing meaningful work!

Visited while on vacation. I did the community tour. I met lots of amazing animals and learned their stories. I’m already vegan, but there was an excellent message promoting a vegan lifestyle throughout-but not in a pushy manner. You can’t help but fall in love with the animals you meet.

We had a tour of Charlie’s Acres a couple months ago. Very cool place to visit farm animals. There’s horses, pigs, sheep, cows, chickens, goats and a few more animals. The goats and pigs seemed to be having the most fun. We learned about the various animals and where they came from and part of their life story. If you want to visit or hopefully volunteer check them out.
