Limited vegan options - Edit
We visited May 21 2025. We eventually opted for Chare (there was a fab sounding pie at the Priory but only available later on and not sure about the shortcrust pastry as said veggie). They only have vegan cheese at Chare so it’s a sandwich or baked potato. Ok, but not what I would normally choose for a nice lunch out. A sandwich for hubby, baked potato with cheese and beans and pot of tea for 2 came to just short of £21 so defo not cheap. There were a couple of vegan cakes but both pretty boring (biscoff tray bake and the usual chocolate brownie), no toppings or fillings so didn’t get. I guess the place is ok if you’re stuck with no food.

Great spot for a drink, cake or lunch. Staff are lovely and the courtyard is full of friendly sparrows! Dog friendly.

Quick pit stop - Edit
Good selection of cakes and sorbet, they also offer one vegan sandwich. They offer vegan milk but there’s a surcharge for that. We had two oat coffees and it cost £9 something so can be pricey!
