Delicious!

The food is so good here, really authentic and freshly made. I always get the chai too, warming and tasty and the spices help with digestion.

Quick and delicious!

Got a couple of samosas and some chai and both were delicious. Definitely a go-to spot when in the city centre

Good vegan lunch spot

The chaat was tasty but felt like a soup, too watery for us. The aloo vada burger was nice with good flavours, we would recommend that over the chaats

Tasty street food with generous portions

Tasty food right on the street, fast and friendly service with generous portions. I will be working my way through their selections whenever I'm in Cambridge!

Must try!!

Entirely vegan Street food truck in Cambridge. Food was SO good and the portions were very generous size wise. The lady serving us from the van was chatty and friendly with great customer service. Tried the samosa chaat, somasas with mango chutney and dhaal. Recommend all 3, especially the samosa chaat. We'll be back for sure 🧡

Absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to eat it again

We got the bhaji wrap and the samosa chaat and then went and sat in the park just behind the van. 💥😊 They give you a lot of food for the money and the flavours are insane. The service is great too, the lady that served us is so lovely ☺️ definitely recommend

Pros: Everything is vegan! Including the mint yoghurt!!

Actually vegan! very tasty

The food truck is easy to see and the HappyCow/Google Maps location was spot on. Prices were clearly labelled, and the single staff was really nice and told us that actually everything is 100% vegan there now (oat milk for chai tea, vegan yoghurt). We have a £6 falafel wrap and a £6 bhaji wrap, which both came with one large samosa. We also had a cup of sweet chai off the hob for £2. We went to eat on the grass in a nearby park, and enjoyed the freshly cooked food. Just beware that some sauces could drip out the wrap. Very tasty, will be back at some point for a nice vegan meal!

Simple but FABULOUS Indian street food!

Three of us went in and between us had a Samosa Chaat, Bhaji Roti Wrap and a Falafel Wrap - with samosas! Smells amazing, tastes amazing, everything is easily made vegan (the only thing you miss is the mint yoghurt) without losing any of the delight in the food.

Simple eats, but completely delicious and I'd definitely recommend. I am genuinely sorry that I couldn't have tried something else (although we did all allow each other a taster!)...

Go, go, go!

Pros: Excellent value, Delicious (like, really delicious) food, Friendly staff

Chai Walla is the best

Simply the best

Simplicity of ordering is what Chai Walla do best, but the food is layered with the most amazing flavour combinations and it's all made fresh for you.

I love the bhaji wraps (though I'll leave the pickle out) and their falafel is also the one.

Filling and flavourful, its what good food should be.

Pros: Fresh, Hot, Tastes great

Cons: None

Delicious

The onion Bhaji wraps are huge, samosas are delicious and everything is reasonably priced and will fill you up but the chickpea daal is my go to choice (it’s a family recipe and it’s incredible). By far my favourite Indian street food!
