Picnic in the park - Edit
This concept is brilliant. Tucked away is a tiny kitchen and with counter service only. There is usually a line and they run out of hummus early in the day. With the park across the street it’s perfect for a quick bite and some people watching.

Extremely delicious street food - Edit
This was some of the most delicious street food I’ve had! I would definitely recommend the curry boxes, they are packed with food and perfect for a picnic. Friendly and fast service too!

Loved the samosa .. missed the chai - Edit
An imp note - the place is completely vegan except for the mango lassi.
Read moreThis is a takeout place near a beautiful square in Bath. I went here for a quick snack and got a samosa. It was really good and would recommend. The disappointment was that they ran out of the chai. Went twice for the chai and it was not available.
Pros: Good food

Chai Walla - Edit
Small hole in the wall style takeaway, no seating but a lovely square opposite for those not in a rush to get somewhere, otherwise the wraps travel very well (mine was still warm half an hour later). I could smell the delicious aromas before I could see the shop! Then I noticed the queue of people, always a good sign. Service was really friendly and the wrap made freshly to order. I had the onion bhaji wrap, which was bursting with flavour and very filling. Great vegan street food for on the go.

Tasty, affordable and friendly - Edit
Food was really good. Chef was really friendly. Prices were really affordable, especially compared to elsewhere in Bath, and portions were really decent. Highly recommend, and would go again. No seating but plenty of benches around the square outside.

Quick tasty street food - Edit
Needed food for the train home, stopped here to grab something to take with me. Got the onion bhaji wrap and samosa, and wasn't disappointed. Food was hot and tasty, and perfect for grabbing on the go. Well priced for the portion size, plus the service was quick & friendly. And the wrap didn't leak when I was eating it, which is a first for me.

One of the best wraps and somosas I've had all under 10 pounds. Conveniently located right in the center of Bath. No seating but food comes out quick and you can sit in the public space.

Delicious food, super nice people - Edit
This little hole-in-the-wall at Kingsmead Square serves some of the best Indian food in the region. Wraps and boxes, falafel, bhaji, samosas and more with their delicious chutneys and sauces. Takeaway only so plan to have somewhere to go to eat it -- but it's worth a visit and there are plenty of benches nearby on a nice day.

Delicious samosa! - Edit
I only had the samosas here but they were the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot of samosas). Definitely want to go back and try more now that it’s fully vegan!

Great tasting street food - delicious tea! - Edit
Amazing tasting fresh indian wraps and tiffin boxes - freshly made bhaji's, somosas etc. Because of this expect a short wait whilst your food is freshly prepared. Worth the wait though!!

Great samosas and falafel wrap - Edit
I've been for a 2nd time to Chai Walla, just after a cycle ride to Bristol along the beautiful disused railway, John made me a lovely falafel wrap and the samosa was exceptionally great. Lovely reward after a lovely ride 🙂

Favourite lunch spot - Edit
We live locally and this is a regular treat lunch for us. Absolutely delicious wraps (ask for the mixed wrap) with loads of flavour and condiments and their samosas are an obsession starter. Highly recommend. It is takeaway only but you can take your lunch to a local park and eat there after a short walk.

Tasty indian street food - Edit
I ordered the bahji wrap and a samosa together with a chai tea.The wrap and samosa was tasty, especially the sauce that came with it. The chai was less sweet than the ones I’ve tried but I kind of liked that, however wished it would have had a tangier spice. The price was reasonable. The only con for me was that the menu was difficult to read as it was on a board below the counter and not visible from the outside and too many people were standing inside in a small space so it was not possible to see the menu . So when it was my turn I had to quickly decide what to have (I’m one of those ppl that take ages to make up their mind!) so felt a bit rushed as I didn’t want to hold up the queue. If the menu would be either above the counter or even on the window so one could see it from the outside I think it would help also passers by that spontaneously want to try the place out.

Pricing is excellent and helpful efficient staff. I had the chickpea curry and rice Box. The curry was just to watery and soaked up all the rice and not in a good way. just felt like it was lacking in flavour.

I had the onion bhaji wrap, which had generous tamarind sauce, tasty mango chutney, delicious bhaji, etc. Really filling and hit the spot for dinner. It came with a samosa, which is good, but I recommend asking for a container of tamarind sauce or chutney for dipping.
