vegans - watch out for cross contamination - Edit

When i was going to order i asked him about his glove that touched a non-vegan sauce. He said he was going to change the glove to make my bahji anyway, the problem is that at that point he already touched the aluminium foil that was used to wrap my bahji with the contaminated glove and the salad from the container was always being touched by that contaminated glove which then was used on my bahji. I only thought on the salad being contaminated when i started eating the bahji...
The smell coming out of this shop is amazing but the taste is not the greatness that everyone talks about, is good but not that good.
I think they need to be much more careful with the cross contamination and work on fixing it. For that reason only two stars.
He is super polite and nice guy though, that is important too.

Pros: great staff

Cons: cross contamination issues

Tasty and Family-run - Edit

The owner is extremely pleasant and vegan! He'll have a very friendly exchange with all the customers, whilst the food is also incredible - using original home-cooked Indian recipes.

Excellent food and great service - Edit

The guy who runs this tiny little take away is such a nice chap. Always smiling and chatty.

The food is delicious and great value. They only do a handful of dishes, but always go for the bhaji wrap. It's superb and you get a samosa with it too. Let him know you want it vegan.

Always busy and almost always a queue but they serve quickly. Don't be put off by the queue!

There's a cash machine right next door, and plenty of outside benches around this part of town.

Usually I'm a really picky vegetarian - I always have to order things without this or that. But finally found a place where I can order as is and love every single bite of it!
Amazing customer service and extremely reasonably priced food that I would happily have again and again!!
