Would give 5 stars if allowed. Great Indian food! - Edit
We visited this place a few times when it was known as Karma Indian Restaurant. They have recently changed their name and menu, but it has kept the same great ambience and friendly staff.
Read moreThe food is delicious and there is plenty to choose from. The poppadoms are amazing. They now come piled up with a tangy spicy sauce and fresh herbs. I ordered the vegan thali so I could sample a few different things without over-facing myself. The House Black Dhal was a particular favourite, but I enjoyed everything I had.
They have also updated the drinks menu to include a range of cocktails and non-alcoholic mocktails. I tried the pomegranate fizz mocktail and the Rajistar martini cocktail. Both were delicious.
It cost around £80 for 3 of us dining, including drinks.

Do not miss! - Edit
Karma has been relaunched as Chaat. The same people own it, and have beautifully refurbished the restaurant and now serve Indian tapas. There is a separate vegan menu and all the things we had were delicious. The mango and lime cider, as well as dessert - a mango colada cocktail, are so good too. Staff are friendly and attentive. Can't wait to visit home again to be able to go again!

Lots of vegan options even on the early bird menu best onion bhaji I've ever had, had fake chicken tikka masala, pilau rice and garlic naan all were amazing, staff were lovely.

Lovely tasty vegan options - Edit
So refreshing to find somewhere with a good choice of vegan options (a whole separate vegan menu!). We had the Badami, Vegan Butter chicken and Saag aloo side, all delicious! Also very friendly staff. Recommended if you are in West Kirby! #Veganuary

I was pleased to be presented with an exclusively vegan menu. I ordered onion bhajis and badami cauliflower. Both were very nice, and the service was excellent.
Read moreI was a little disappointed to find that the only vegan pudding was lemon sorbet, but otherwise very good. I would come again.
Edit: I visited again in Jan 2023 and it was still fantastic. Really recommend the badami, and chole curries.

They have a separate vegan menu and the waiters are knowledgeable. Food was very tasty and quick. But as someone else said, a lack of dessert options.
