Inventive warm and colorful atmosphere - Edit
We checked this out on our first day in Medellin. Lovely terrace with nice music, good light setting though looking in to the kitchen you get blinded by the fluorescent lamp lighting it up. We got a menu del día. Really nice soup; carrot/pumpkin - nice and creamy! A Mexican burrito style. Beans uncooked and just a little too many, it had a slightly burned taste. Delicious picante sauce on the side.
Read moreNice cold spicy ginger drink, I'm not keen on ginger but Matias liked it. Hot fruity ginger splat for dessert, nothing to write home about. We were a little disappointed by the main dish, but it could be an exception, because the rest was really good. Really nice girl serving us with good energy and English speaking. We would dare to go there again and we think you should too

One of my favorite little restaurants I tryed in two month trip in Peru and Colombia! - Edit
Beautifull open-air restaurant, it's a super cute and well decorated place (hippy-eco-DIY-deco;) on terrasse on a first level of a house in El poblado. The location could make you expect an expenssive price for the fixed menu, but they nicely made two option, one "big size menu" at 18.000$ and one "smaller sized" at 10.000$. The big one have one of two more portion of vegan-protein, more salad and come with an extra tea and cookie. But if you are travelling on a budget but still want to eat sometime in restaurant don't hesitate to take the smaller menu, because it is actually not small :) It come with a good portion, of soup, a main plate with vegetables, veg-protein (like lences steak) salad, and you have also a glass of delicious juice. The staff peoples are creative for the menu and really friendly.
Read moreI really recommend this place if you are in Poblado, I think it's maybe the sheapest option for fixed menu, I a beautifull environment, with nice and tasty food. :D

Wonderful! - Edit
I went there today and had the lunch menu, which was ripe plantain soup, causa limeña with guacamole, plantain mash, beans and potato mash and raspberry and guava juice. The taste and presentation were both outstanding, the waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere there is very comfy. So far, this has been my favourite lunch in Medellin (and I have eaten quite a few).

Good food, great atmosphere, excellent service - Edit
For 15,000 COP (less than $5 USD), you get a 4-course fixed menu which you can veganize if its not vegan.
Read moreOn the first day, the main dish was "quesadillas" which we ordered without cheese and it was good. But on the second day we had a vegan-bean casserole.. and it was amazing.
The service was very kind and the place has a colourful atmosphere.
The restaurant sits at a trendy neighbourhood in Medellin with a lot of cafes and bars in the vicinity.

Awesome ambience and service - Edit
Centeno has moved from its parking lot crate to a more conventional location - upstairs on a street near Parque Lleras, and across from the Exito Express. I brought a group of 2 vegos and 4 omnis here for lunch, and we all loved it. They served us a kale salad (only kale I´ve eaten in South America), a delicious roast veggie soup, a mason jar of juice, a burger with fries and delicious sauce, sorbet, an aromatic tea, and a free rum shot to finish off. Only downside: 15,000 for the lunch of the day, instead of the more standard 10. Amazing service, lovely place, and great food.

Happiness In The Kitchen - Edit
Built out of a 20ft container, the little kitchen serves a unique lunch menu.which includes everything freshly made: juice, soup, salad, main course and desert for what is right now 13,000 cp. Unfortunately the settung is in a parking lot and no amount of plants or pan flute music will make the place a romantic getaway. nonetheless for a great healthy lunch in a quiet spot, this might be tour ticket.
