Omni restaurant where vegans may have the following: falafel, baba ghanoug, grape leaves, spinach fatayer (no cheese in it), lentil soup, sweet potato soup, hummus, lentils and rice, m'saka and shakousky (both are eggplant salads), kibbeh, vegetable kebab, baklava (no honey in it), and falafel pizza. Plenty of free parking. Open Mon 11:00am-3:00pm, Tue-Sun 11:00am-9:00pm.

Best hummus in the area, lots of vegan choices, e.g., grape leaves, lentil soup, falafel, salad. Very casual, comfortable place with great food, reasonably priced.

Cute Mom & Pop Vibes - Edit
Delicious food in a cute neighborhood cafe. The vegetarian kibbeh was fantastic and the baba ghanoush was solid (although the pitas were not the best). Will definitely be coming back!

Great vegan food in a destination city - Edit
Most omni restaurants just offer a few token vegan items. Not this one! This restaurant offers about 12 (yes, 12!) vegan items and they are all delicious and reasonably priced. I love this food! What a treat! The owner is friendly and there is lots of free parking. This is worth the trip from nearby DC and Baltimore and the surrounding area. On Sundays there is a Farmers Market just outside the restaurant from 10-2, and Old Greenbelt is a historical landmark, the first planned community in the USA, built by FDR and the New Deal,and worth a visit in and of itself. So just treat yourself to a visit to Cedars, pr combine it with a tour of Greenbelt and/or a stop at the Farmers' Market.
