Lowkey hassle. Standard food - Edit
Went here with a friend who told me they had a bunch of vegan options. None of the standard bowls were vegan and most of the staff did not know which ingredients had animal products. I also had to repeat the instructions several times as the bowl was passed down to different staff members, as they are only given cards with the ingredients from pre-made bowls and need to be reminded of changes to your order. Overall the bowl itself was standard.

So-so - Edit
I was meeting up with a non-veg friend who knew this place had veg options. I was pretty unimpressed by the food. There are so many great Middle Eastern places in L.A. that I would recommend before this one.

Okay Option - Edit
I used to LOVE Cava years ago, but I was disappointed in my last visit here - the food felt overpriced for the 4 balls of falafel that counted as my protein. Grab a menu to see vegan-labeled options.

Want food in a bowl? This place has it - Edit
I’ve eaten here several times in the last year. Downtown Culver City has enough vegan and vegetarian options that if you’re looking for something really interesting, or something really cheap, this neighborhood has better options for both of those desires than CAVA. (Check out Govinda’s, Indian Sweets and Spices, or any of the other places Happy Cow will recommend you!) However, CAVA still has bowls of tasty food that will keep you alive! I still enjoy coming here every once in a while!
